I've been watching your videos for about a month now. The ride-alongs are impressive, but even more so are your choices of music - Boston for Boston, The Jacksons for Gary, IN to Chicago, and now Styx within Chicago. Great acknowledgements to the bands' roots.
Great video man! I also really liked the vid you did of the eisenhower. The stevenson is probably the only main expressway in Chicago where the traffic isn't horribly horribly bad like the others. But the inbound traffic seemed to be pretty heavy and even stopped in some spots in this vid so I'm guessing you probably filmed this sometime around the morning rush or a little bit after?
IH 55, must be reconstructed. Get complete frontage rds. Exits after intersections and entrances before intersections. Below grade level and elevated sections, get brought to grade level. Intersections here, must go to below grade level, as well as frontage rds at this intersections. Intersections overpassing 55, must go to grade level, while 55 overpasses this intersections. Frontage rds at interchanges, must go below grade level, as well as frontage rds of those interchanges.
One of the road at the interchange, must overpass, and the other stay at grade level. Here, the interchange ramps must go higher than the overpass. Cloverleaf ramps, must be replaced by interchange ramps. Intersecting and parallel rr tracks, must get elevated. On outsides of frontage rds in developed areas, must get sidewalks. Pedestrian bridges, must be replaced by pedestrian tunnels. Gas pipelines intersecting 55 in developed areas, must have hike and bike trails.
Ditches and waterways at 55 in developed areas, must have hike and bike trails going under 55. Edges of frontage rds in the dense areas, must get bicycle lns with a barrier. The road in the dense area; must get automated, that vehicles are driven by computers and joysticks, must become hover, that vehicles float on magnets. Edges of 55, must have a lane with a barrier for gas and electic bikes and gas and electric scooters.

Wow, my mom told that Chicago is a bad city because they have pimps, car shots and other things they do in Chicago. But I like the music! And like the freeway! While you was doing I-294 you had the same music just like ScrewdUPClickV2 did!
Great mix of roadmovie, musik, history etc... Thanks

Jim, what can I say. Excellent work, of course.
Little known trivia: Styx, when they were known by their original name, TW-4, played my mom's high school prom.
@jdk310 Thanks, I filmed this on a Saturday early0mid afternoon, not sure what was holding up inbound traffic.

@rickhh1 Not sure what you mean by that?
@rickhh1 Ahhh, gotcha, really didn't take too much time at all to be honest.
The way to the gateway to the west and KSHE.
Does the "Road, Music and US History" comment make this song a reference to you?
Enough signs for advertising?? LOL
