Coonamessett River Restoration for the classroom, Part 1: The Problem

The first of 3 videos intended as classroom aides in the study of the Coonamessett River Restoration. This video introduces you to some of the human-caused problems in and around the river that led to its restoration. Students are encouraged to come up with their own solutions to these problems. In the next video, students get to compare their ideas to what the scientists did and how that's benefitted the river and the plants and animals that live there. Intended to be used in tandem with field visits to the river, though the videos can stand alone if that isn't possible.
