Sick bunch of liberals. First they regulate industry so all the jobs are shipped overseas. Then thier regulations restrict industry from ever being able to come back by enviornemental restrictions. All the while they are governement leaches living off the taxpayer to play god with our economic future. Would to god the woolen mills were back and all the governement jobs were gone!

At 3:32 you can see this weird bulbous field in the bottom left corner of the screen. That is one of the river's original meanders. Imagine this River snaking across the landscape in the longest, slowest path that physics would allow. Maximizing the edge and opportunity for habitat and life. That straigh shot we see now? That made by us.

I remember seeing so many herring run in the stream in my hometown in NJ. That stream was fresh water tasting but tidal in that it wen’t all the way through two ponds to an outfall pipe at the beach. We would snag them with treble hooks. I took some home and my dad who was a seafood meister didn’t know what to do with them. He said they were boney and not worth the work to clean. A friends mom knew how to pickle them and put them in a cream sauce and canned them in mason jars. I never tried to eat any. I kept the family in fish from surf casting and the inlets north and south of my house.

Small rivers can be cleaned from bottom sediments using a motor pump for dirty water and a suction nozzle Bagermaster. A mini dredger consisting of a motor pump and a suction nozzle allows you to deepen small rivers by removing sediment from sand and silt
