Magical, as always... Fagioli is primus inter pares, among the younger generation of counters, as far as I am concerned. Soo moving! I cannot wait to see him perform this role live, next year.
Brilliant! Where is the full recording? What a production!!!! Just the costumes alone are worth an award. I've heard other versions of this opera and I've been unlucky as they all seem dull and perfunctory...Fagioli and this cast can really bring Handel to life.
