Honda has launched the CB300R Neo Sports Cafe in India at Rs 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom). It is Honda's most affordable CKD (Completely Knocked Down) assembled-in-India motorcycle in the country. It is powered by a 286cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. Zigwheels - rear suspension is super hard
Autocar- rear suspension is too soft

Bhai ye janta ko chutuya samjhte hai...kuch v techical term bol do Kon check kr rha.
It's Stiff! If you are riding on pot wholes and bumpy roads but if you ride on corners or in traffic 🚥 it's pretty good.
Just not as good good as ktm though in terms of cornering.

Here zigwheels rider is saying its hard but he is heavy weight one so suspension should feel soft for him
Autocar rider, who is peanuts, saying it is soft so the irony is this.
KTMs rear shock is clearly soft and not in sync with beautiful front end. You can clearly see Powerdrifts first ride review in which the new D390 is bouncing with Sagars weight. Earlier Ktms are even softer (underdamped is the correct word)
That's the funny part. I had a duke 200 till 2017 and I never felt it's soft. I'm 5.9" 70kg and ridden duke 390 many times which has hard suspension as well.
@@DAY-ht4go Yes that's called underdamped. Check what it means and also check Sagars Powerdrift review of new D390 which I am talking about. That's why Every Rc Track rider upgrades his rear shock first.

I have 11 year old Honda unicorn. If I won't own one I would not have believed a bike could be that smooth and silent. Till today it is smoother than most of the bikes.
I wish Honda release a bike in 250 CC segment with same smootness.

Bro believe me.... I have been riding it for 20 days 1200 km ... And its giving more than 32 kmpl which is claimed by honda
It's been a month with my new CB300R, 3000 KM covered and the mileage is 40KMPL

@@kishorgopal7113 So far I have clocked 6700 kilometers now, my riding speed varies between 24 kmph to 80 kmph mostly. I am getting 41 plus mileage, I always try to drive in optimal RPM and speed at right gear, for this I use the real time mileage indicator.
I took a test ride few days ago and i was quite happy with the bike. It would be a very good upgrade from my current FZ16. Yamaha doesnt have a good naked bike which is competitive and loaded in 250-300 range. This has to do.

Will Honda ever update the CBR? Or launch the CBR500. This is a very pathetic offering, considering we have better options in this segment.

I own this beauty, and
1.the suspension is on softer side and is not hard by any means. He is a weighted person and so he might be facing that issue I don't know.
3. I have done 300+ km in on go and i can confirm that it is super comfortable for touring.
4. Touring space is less yes, but so is on every other bike. you any way have to mount luggage stands and let's bbe honest how many of us will actually take this bike to laddakh i mean practically.
5. Last but not the least, the looks i recieve while sitting on this bike is nothing like anything :). you enjoy the exclusivity with this one. because there is nothing like this as of now in the market.

- yes.. suspension is on stiffer side when compared with other, however i am still fine with that.
- milage is awesome
- quality still holds value, top notch product
- pillion people might have issues, for me it wasn't a requirement
Rather go for the dominar400 or the 390 Duke.

But suzuki not offering good design and even wind protection! You saw that lil windscreen upfront 😝 gixxer 250 still feels a bit dated then should bring gsxr250 on it's part.
CB300R isn't a disappointment it is just not suited for Indian market

I don't understand why the Mojo is never considered in the 300cc segment comparison. If you have ridden the bike, you will know that the engine is the most refined of all 300cc bikes and it is great for touring with good right quality and tank range. Yes, it has its flaws but that should not keep the bike away from comparisons...

I will be honest, i am disappointed with how Honda has fared up overall.
I have made its booking in February and i may cancel it.
Poor headlight, ride quality on Indian roads, wooden brakes and, worst of all, even the seats are not good.
Honda is definitely not taking Indian performance market seriously.

i have this bike and with a lot of mountain roads my average consumption is 2.8L/100km so better than honda claims, with low speed flat road cruising even 40km/l are possible
