- Hi Friends.
Well, it's time for our sweet potato harvest. This is our first year so we were unsure how these would turn out. We had some decent growth with some bizarre shapes. We tried to make the soil as loamy as possible and provided plenty of water during our hot summer.
This was a lot of fun, like digging for gold! Watch us as we pull back all the vines and DIG IN!
These are Beauregard.

Kudos to you for consistently delivering videos that stand out, my friend. Your unique style and creativity make them unforgettable. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
Thanks Sarah! Yes I will check out your channel. We will be having chickens this summer. Should make for some interesting videos.
Seems like more is left in the ground. Thanks for sharing
You bet
Need to follow the roots all the way because they run under the ground. Nice harvest .
Thanks! We did go back through the area again with a pitchfork and did get a few more.
I think you should take a pitch fork and go through that whole area where vines were. Potatoes tend to grow off those side vines
Thank you! Yes we found the pitchfork and went back through again. Not much more to speak of but a few more were found.

Nice sweet potato harvest. 🎉
Thanks for subscribing! We can't wait to start making some fries with our new fries cutter. Stay tuned...
If it was a little tailess mouse it sounds like voles, the have nests in ground and don't hill like moles do
Yes you are right. A vole indeed... Ruined some of our sweet potatoes! Mother nature you gotta love it...
Not had for the first harvest...next year try putting a lot of mulch..good luck.
Thanks will do! Also I didn't build mounds or anything... But still think we had success due to the very loamy soil we created when planting. Thinking about doing a whole patch of these next year.
