I agree with you totally. Dogs are REALLY going to LOVE you no matter what. And, really, IF you treat them badly, you deserve to have your ass kicked. Your dog will always LOVE YOU. And, you should be very much aware of the fact that your dog is going to be loving you pretty much forever. Dogs are really the best forms of life. They are just the BEST creatures that exist here and now.

When my dogs misbehaved, I would say they were "bad" and ignored them. They were VERY upset. They would come over to "apologized" to me. Of course, I accepted the apology. But, they never did the behavior again. I NEVER use crates!

Yeah, I have to call BS on the positive reinforcement. Yes it’s good to do that but they need negative reinforcement. Also, you don’t have to beat them or yell at them. You just have to tense up. They can tell that you’re not happy with what they’re doing. I tried positive reinforcement technique, walking my dog, I spent 3 1/2 hours and never got out of the driveway because I couldn’t tell him what he was doing wrong
