The first talk I listened to of Ajhan Brahm was the four ways of letting go so simple but true changed my life.when he talks of compassion kindness and wisdom there is really no need for drugs this is the only medicine you need.

Einsteinz does it again, good Bible quote! I knew there was something on this. Ajahn even repeatedly mentions that Buddhism isn't really a religion, you don't have to pray to the statue of Buddha, just listen. They do it because they are monks. I regularly follow the teachings of Christ as well myself.

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me - John 14:6 The Buddha aint a god.We dont worship idols either, thats just a symbol of the teachings, and many ppl say the Buddha wouldnt dig on all the statues of him. There are ppl who pray to the Buddha for intervention, sure, but thats human nature. There is a very good argument Buddhism isnt even a religion. In Buddhist lands ppl dont usually say,,Im a Buddhist,,but I follow the Buddha dharma,/teachings.Me Im a Christian and I try to follow the Buddha dharma.Chill out, aint nothin evil in it.With metta.

Mike Berg True. It is all about teachings. With Buddha, with Jesus. Not about worshipping. People got it wrong when they started to worship statues and forgot to use the teachings in life, as basic good morals and ethics.

I love Ajahn Brahms talks, in his fun uplifting talks lies a deep root of a lesson that I utilize in daily life. I hope to be able see him in person one day. I live in a non Buddhist community strictly all forms of Christianity town, Ajahn Brahm talks helps me stay connect with buddhahood. I also enjoy the other monks talks as well, especially the sutra talks. It's a joy to be able to watch his talks live or prerecorded. I normally listen on apple podcast. Thank you.

The highest truth of dhamma is in silence. When people are ready, then the fully enlightened master will appear to them .They practice even quietly but their essence of spiritual life will shine and might be noticed. They are beyong the mind which is planning, discussing, arguing, acting this way or that way to control and telling due to the nature of the mind level of EGO,ACHIEVEMENT etc etc etc. They talk when asked , when necessary. They reach the state of no ego, no face, no conception, no thought of bad of good. just like a child.
They are peaceful, simple, humble,,compassionate. They practice not to boast about getting respect. They are very active ,self sufficient and give (not telling people to give but showing example of giving which is even finance and spiritual merit. they have the right conceptions. All the great masters show the world this wisdom, truth, beauty from inside and outside.Buddha sangha in the past did not work for living but their ways of living are concepts of free from attachment so their spiritual merit surpassed
    and transfered to lay people.
If today monks do not dig into themself to check their intentions because Buddha is not here to check them and the lay people just sadhu sadhu sadhu, the foods and things they get from working honest people might not be able to digested.

I understand Ajahn Brahm is a very earthy grounded person but I'd like to hear Ajahn Brahmali or Ajahn Appichato speak on newer scientific theories being tested and how Buddhists work with the new information.

Ajahn is always talking about how much he works..he's worse than a father that has to work 2 jobs just to feed his family. he never tells us why he works so hard that causes him so much exhaustion. he probably comes from a family ( especially his dad) that would tolerate nothing less than very hard work all the time and be very ambitious. he's just doing all this terrible work schedule within a Buddhist context.
