It always amazes me that no matter how complicated a piece of medieval armour may appear, every single element is necessary and useful. You simply have to understand the reasons for it. Thank you so much for this very interesting video.
dude looks *massive* with his armor on, then he takes it off and i'm like "wait, his shoulders are leaner than mine. how badass would i look in armor?!"
This is beautiful, Mr. Ola, love your videos a lot. Very interesting. Medieval armor and weapons are true art. I am always surprised how aesthetic that things were made.
im a year late, but you would never buy armor from a website because a suit of plate armor, maille, cloth layers (gambeson and whatnot) are all very personal and tailor made to fit you. you can just buy a size large suit of armor. you could just go to any 'medieval' festival and ask around to find an armorer.
Strange to think that nowadays every man in the western world can buy an armor wich had in the Middle Ages a worth comparable to the cattle herds of entire villages (much much money) minor knights sometimes had to go into debt to afford a horse and even a sword.
This armour is spectacular.
That horse cloth is spectacular
Haven’t seem you upload in a while, nice video.
Thank you, this is probably the best explanation of the bascinet system I have seen yet!
Great video! Thank you for sharing this. Love that during the beginning sequence, the horse has heard all this before, and is trying to be patient. :D

What type of saddle are you using?
Nice
I wanna hear about your horse!

Where can you buy armor like this? (asking for a website because i know an armorer made your bascinet)

@@selectionn Thanks for the reply, You make sense since armor does not come in a small medium or large, and it is tailored to the person.
What about the face protection? I'm guessing bc u had to get it from the armourer so u didn't get it
Lol the face protection is the helmet that’s put up so he can talk
@@Jelly_Juice2006 did u even watch the vid he only made the surrounding part ig u could say not the visor or face protection
@@KadinoTheDumpling He already has a hounskull bascinet. I think this is just a tutorial and possible configuration for future events.
Well done :)
