I'm glad this model has the original rounded taper around the deflector screen as opposed to the sharp taper that ILM had to hastily add at the last minute to cater for the Borg battle scene outside the ship in First Contact.
Jason! Question: why did you removed so much “meat” from the upper side of the secondary hull and the underside of the lower saucer? You took so much away and reduced the “glueing” area! Perhaps that was also the reason why the secondary hull had so wide of a gap between the secondary hull and the saucer! Even if you had to light the ship you don’t have to remove that much of plastic from both parts. But like always I love the way you explain everything and show the “ mistakes” keep the good work going!

Ah thank you !! I feel less alone ! I took 5 months to get it up and lit and it was horrible to put it all together. But the end result was worth it.
