    that was a hell of a burnout!!!! loved it. and thanks to the eastwood folks for the show. I learned a lot , (some of it too late), but really appreciate that it is not edited too.

    Awesome show Kevin! I followed you from Trucks to Hands on cars, I hope we all get to see more from you, and The Eastwood Company.

    Honestly, between the two I'll pick the zed sled. Pure refinement, work of art.

    Yeah this has been great fun seeing all stages of this iconic car warping in to a new life form.

    Great job Kevin, I am a all Chevy kinda guy. I haven't favored that style Camaro but you guys did a really nice job on that hot rod. I also am interested in trying Eastwood's products. Man I can't say it enough times that car turned out really good inside and out.

      I think it's irresponsible and not cool at all. Is that what Eastwood is all about?...showing people it's OK to do burnouts and peel out every takeoff?

    Great series!! I watched them all. You MUST do another build down the line. May I suggest a 1978 Olds Cutlass Calais with a SB Olds (350 DX block with 425 crank) 442 cubic inch engine. You could even paint it Corporate Blue and make it look stock. UMI Performance makes an entire suspension package for the G-Body's. Do It!! You know you want to. Again, GREAT WORK over there. Keep it up.

    The sled just has so much more character, if I had to compare the two. Such a cool series, I'm referencing this constantly with the power project on redoing my 74 Ventura.

    Curious to know what cam you installed. Have to have changed it since the LQ4 only made like 335 crank hp at most all stock.

    I know this does not pertain to anything here but I am needing help for my 67 Camarillo base coupe. I would like to revive the heater and ac evaporator cases. Since they are fiberglass, should I wash throughly, sand with 180 spray with epoxy then use under hood black? Thanks much my friend. The sled is awesome for sure.

    Just tuning in first time.... awesome series so far!!!
    Kevin, I just have to correct you on one thing. You used a rare phrase incorrectly. You should’ve said “nervous as a long tailed cat in room full of racking chairs”.
    Sorry you’re the 2nd person in my 45years that used that phrase, he was a car guy too....
    Great show!

    That's what I'd really want to do with a car I just busted my ass on restoring is take it out & rod the shit out of it. What a waste of a great paint job, this why good performance cars are so hard to find in good condition, everybody beat the shit out of them.

    A few years later and you can get a 2015 Z28 for only $40k

  • @johncarr123
    @johncarr123 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    4 years later and that 80 grand Z28 is worth $33,000.00. Not sure why you would sink $27 grand into an old Gen 2 Camaro when you can have a Z28 with carbon fiber brakes or better yet a used 2017 1LE SS that is 1 sec slower than the Z28 for $34,000.00 www.carfax.com/vehicle/2G1FZ1EE5F9700825
