Montauk reminds me of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, one of my fav films. The fact that yall went & hung around the beach... just reminds me of the movie. Sweet.

Man I must say I enjoy Joes videos so much. And this one was great. I always didnt really want to take pictures in nature on coloured film in such weather when all the colours are so bleak but you showed me a new way how to appreciate it. Thank you very much!

I grew up 30 minutes West of Montauk in Sag Harbor (actually met ioe there while visiting my parents last year). cool to see other photographers I look up to document the place I fell in love with shooting, especially since they're visiting during the surreal, beautiful and usually overlooked off-season. In a few short months Montauk will be packed with trust fund babies and Wall Street bankers getting far too drunk at S'Lodge, but in the winter, the East End of LI is a very special place. Also, hot tip Joe: Grindstone donuts ain't got nothin' on a Goldberg's sandwich! Check em out next time, you'll thank me later. :)
