One of the first lists I've seen I FULLY agree with except for single weapon. Famas for sure needs to be in A. In my opinion above AKM and Fcar, TTK is just so much better. and still does fine at range esspecially if oyu get used to the weird, left right, left right spray pattern. Pike for sure is S. Been using it non stop since release. And been shredding every lobby. I think slightly lower fire rate might be the trick to get it balanced. or little more recoil while spam shooting
FAMAS is definitely strong, but I would have only put it slightly above the Akimbo in this list. It dominates at ranges that the FCAR and AKM can't handle, but I daresay you're just factually wrong about the TTK. If I remember correctly, FCAR and AKM have better TTK on every class. Factor in headshots and the claim is only exuberated due to the difficulty of hitting headshots with a burst weapon (unless you're accidentally hitting headshots because you're aiming for chest lol). As such, it gets outclassed in long range by the Pike, and outclassed in short range by the AKM. If you can keep your enemies exactly where you want them, FAMAS slaps, but since you can't, it just doesn't measure up. This is just imo ofc, I haven't done any testing recently lol.
Everything is amazing on this list. I was questioning the Lewis at S before you put the m60 above it, but all I’d say is lewis is definitely just high A
I’m listening to your closing statement on the Famas and I 100% agree. It’s one of my favorite weapons on Medium but I usually find myself switching to the Model depending on the situation. It’s great for medium range encounters but once enemies start being more aggressive it loses its effectiveness.
It’s unfortunate because it’s finally at its peak effectiveness now in season 4 with the new scopes, but it still feels shy against the models and pikes.

The V9S has been extremely good since the beta, I'm surprised that it's a shocker to people. The XP was just in need of a nerf for ages, so no one paid too much attention to it, I suppose.
I feel like the Famas has a hit reg issue, it’s like the game has problems with counting each round from the burst reliably. Some games it’ll melt in like 2 or 3 bursts and then others it feels like it’ll hitmarker the entire mag and do 150 damage.
they keep on shooting the cash out and exploads all your mines and set up then blames you when it get stolen like if my gas mines were there maybe we would of won have you thought of that you *****************************

Good list. I think the Famas is A tier it shreds but has crazy fall off for a weapon thats not great at close range. Surprised to hear your take on sniper; I’ve found a ton of success in the final round with it, but cant use it first two rounds.
Recently played with a Riot Shield guy who spent the whole game running sideways. Never raised the shield, just used it on his side for cover. He had the most kills of the three of us lol. There's hope for you guys XD

Famas having a sight makes it an A tier weapon imo. Also the deagles having perfect accuracy and insane headshot damge + high rate of fire should warrent a higher rating lowkey

Tbh I preferred TA for that reason. Cashout has a lot of chance involved with how the other teams make their decisions. It is fun in world tour but I want a team vs team ranked mode not free for all.
Actually the first list that I can agree with. Only thing I would change is putting the CL40 higher (just to OP after the buff) and putting the Matter lower. If you're playing on the higher ranks where people have aim, the TTK difference is just way too huge
I disagree with the riot shield. I’ve every WT I’ve won has been with riot shield, because I play SUPPORT. Trust me, being able to get places without getting shot is amazing for reviving, healing teammates, it get to the cash out and set up your traps. And in lower tier lobby’s, I usually get more kills than anyone as people not used to dealing with charging riots screw up pretty bad lol.
I might would have switched just a few things around, like I think that Lewis should be above M60 just because of its higher dps and range. But otherwise, I agree with this list. CL-40 is massively overhated right now and its because they took the skill expression away when they switched up the way explosions work. I want the direct impact bonus back in exchange for a base damage nerf. That would make it so the weapon still fills it niche, while also requiring skill to outlclass other weapons. It worked great in season 1/2, then they straight up killed it in 3, and resurrected it in 4. Now its like a zombie of sorts. Alive again, but not in the same way XD
Ooh, I disagree with the Famas placement. Been having issues going against Heavies with dual wields the whole season. They're health pool mixed with insanse damage and dome shield makes them incredibly hard to kill. That all changed when I used the Famas
@SoLunxr FCAR is a shadow of its former self while the Famas gives you high amounts of burst damage. If you can hit your shots the FCAR is decent but if you apply that same logic to the Famas and hit all your shots you'll be the most hated person in your lobbies
The only thing I disagree with is I play heavy and do take into consideration I am referring to playing capture, but it is always been my go-to and always will be. If I land down into the platform spinning I think my best was literally taking out five players in a matter of 6 seconds that were all in the platform. And you mentioned about the reach I personally think the reach is awesome, people can be jumping down off the platform not even on it and I can still be 3 to 4 ft from The edge where they jumped and somehow it still catches them for the last hit and kill.

I love the heavy but man idk I can’t get a good feel with the double guns. The slug shot I like but it definitely a B tier gun although it has good versatility with its ability to break walls and stuff it not being hit scan, long reload, slow fire rate, super small clip brings it down I mean it’s like 3 shots to take down a medium with only 6 in the chamber
Sniper is good for assists, good for headshots on an open cashout too I.e. suspended structures, I personally like to play objective more tho so I’m usually dipping in and out of fights and weaving all the way to the cashout with the vault, I just wish the centring was a bit better but the recent static crosshairs update really helped with aiming while moving

One of a huge problems with weapon that need to spam and tracking is that is awefull for a left-hander like me who grap the mouse with my right hand. Try to spam click and track with your left hand and you will understand my pain. It's a natura disadventage, most when best weapon are these type... And grap the mouse my left hand is worst beacause i have the keyboard on my right, not center. And the click are inversed... No solution. Pls nerf these 😢
1st, they arent going to nerf weapons for someone who has bad aim. And thats what this is. 2nd, use mouse in left hand and the right side of the keyboard for your keys. The only example I know is someone using the numpad /789 for wasd, numpad enter for shift, and arrow key down and right both for jump. things like pg up and pg dn for e and f, home for reload, and numpad 7 or 9 for your specialization. Take the time to get good with this setup and it will naturally support your dominant hand. Theres ways to play games left handed. you just have to be willing to learn new things rather than trying to live in a right handed world. make it work for you.
When I use the akimbo deagles if you get that 2x headshot multiplier they fckn MELT. I also feel like when I play light in getting bodied by even half decent players landing headshots

Bro I can’t believe the shot gun is A it’s very good but sometimes it just flat out doesn’t work properly even when you know for a fact you hit all them shots it’s weird like some of the pellets aren’t registered sometimes
bow is just too hard for most people to use plus everyone else in the lobby using hitscan weps make you at a big disadvantage using the bow off the rip
The Cl 40 is actually insane rn. I would win tournaments every 10 tournaments but I won 4 tournaments in a row with it. 2 people running CL40 and one person on long range is a super powerful comp.
Why does the new light shotgun have such a big damage falloff? I've played some matches with it and appears that the damage suddenly falls off into non existant numbers. And it's a short distance as well. It's not like the spread of the pellets is big, they are tightly clustered but it just loses all of its damage after like 15 meters or so and becomes a peashooter

Yo Brody! I’m struggling with controller on ps5! Been tweaking settings since S1! I tried your settings with the foam ring on the right stick but I’m a linear player and I felt the foam ring was very limiting even tho I used the soft ones.. any tips for me brother?
You said it right there “linear”. That’s the problem, in the finals, linear is completely going to mess up your recoil control. I’d recommend exponential.
I do have 20k kills in this game! I’m just not an elite player yet I feel like.. although i have 600hours played, it’s frustrating af! I’ll give the expo and foam rings a try, I got the kontrol freek foams, I’m gonna see if I get used to it. Right now I play 470H 350V 53%
i agree with most of this tier list but the glazing of the V9S is not S tier. sword goes in S tier and V9S is a mid to low A tier. the range is so punshing on V9S and if a sword player manages to get close (which is ez with lunge dash) there's nothing u can do
You haven't used the cl-40 much huh. It takes alot of skill if you want to actually deal damage because you need to actually hit your opponents with the projectile not the area damage.
6:36 Riot shield mains would make you choke on your words brother. :D In your own words: Just because you don't see that many people use it, doesn't mean it's not a good weapon. Lot of people think they were named Himothy and can slap the absolute shit out of contestants with it so they pick it up and end up finding out they weren't actually named Himothy and get clapped in a 1v3-1v2 situation. I know people who reached Emerald 1 and 2 only using the riot shield back in Season 3. It's a goated weapon but it requires insane skills to be competitive with it so it makes it a "D tier" weapon. :(
CL-40 deserves S tier unfortunately, a week after the season release people have started realizing its 2 tap L, 3 tap M, 4 tap H with 30cm splash dmg and 117 dmg. Now been frequently seen in T500 plat/dia lobbies
I think heavy's machine guns is S-tier for you coz of controller support. Dont get me wrong, ure skilled player and It needs aim but on a controller its a little bit easier to play with machine guns imo
As a ex Apex player i can confirm the bow is very strong and reasonable to be high skill gap, feel identical to the Bocek from apex, while the bow is consistent for both close to long range, the only counter to u is light. I hit a insane clip with the bow, 1v3 i play the bow like AWP from csgo, just shoot and dash, keep giggle peak. Its insanely fun to use too. Would recommend for people who have good knowledge of pre-aiming.
fcar could use a rework. maybe not a buff necessarily, but a rework. Just kinda feels like the ak but a little worse. Which is exactly what it is in all actuality lol
Sniper main here. Yeah, the nerf did kinda hurt, but it does make sense imo. In ranked, you won't really be shooting people from more than 100 meters since you gotta stick with your team, and at those ranges the bullet drop is still very manageable, so the only ones really affected by this change are power shift roof campers.
There is no way the AKM is better than the FAMAS. AKM is easily the worst of the 3 ARs and it's absolute garbage at longer ranges. Your argument for putting the FAMAS where it is boils down to 'the Pike is better', ok well the Pike is significantly better than the AKM at pretty much every range. You have absolutely 0 chance of dealing with mid to long range PIKE with the AKM but you can actually do some damage to them with FAMAS.

I also think v9s is lights best gun. I love the deagles they are strong if you got the skill with them, good Balance embark should never touch them

I think the Bow is incredibly strong with the buffs it received, but you definitely need to commit to it because of its difficulty.

The Cl 40 is actually insane rn. I would win tournaments every 10 tournaments but I won 4 tournaments in a row with it. 2 people running CL40 and one person on long range is a super powerful comp.

Why does the new light shotgun have such a big damage falloff? I've played some matches with it and appears that the damage suddenly falls off into non existant numbers. And it's a short distance as well. It's not like the spread of the pellets is big, they are tightly clustered but it just loses all of its damage after like 15 meters or so and becomes a peashooter

Yo Brody! I’m struggling with controller on ps5! Been tweaking settings since S1! I tried your settings with the foam ring on the right stick but I’m a linear player and I felt the foam ring was very limiting even tho I used the soft ones.. any tips for me brother?
You said it right there “linear”. That’s the problem, in the finals, linear is completely going to mess up your recoil control. I’d recommend exponential.
Yeah and keep practising , those precision rings and finger grip really improved my game massively

i agree with most of this tier list but the glazing of the V9S is not S tier. sword goes in S tier and V9S is a mid to low A tier. the range is so punshing on V9S and if a sword player manages to get close (which is ez with lunge dash) there's nothing u can do
You haven't used the cl-40 much huh. It takes alot of skill if you want to actually deal damage because you need to actually hit your opponents with the projectile not the area damage.

Lot of people think they were named Himothy and can slap the absolute shit out of contestants with it so they pick it up and end up finding out they weren't actually named Himothy and get clapped in a 1v3-1v2 situation. I know people who reached Emerald 1 and 2 only using the riot shield back in Season 3. It's a goated weapon but it requires insane skills to be competitive with it so it makes it a "D tier" weapon. :(

CL-40 deserves S tier unfortunately, a week after the season release people have started realizing its 2 tap L, 3 tap M, 4 tap H with 30cm splash dmg and 117 dmg. Now been frequently seen in T500 plat/dia lobbies

I think heavy's machine guns is S-tier for you coz of controller support. Dont get me wrong, ure skilled player and It needs aim but on a controller its a little bit easier to play with machine guns imo
As a ex Apex player i can confirm the bow is very strong and reasonable to be high skill gap, feel identical to the Bocek from apex, while the bow is consistent for both close to long range, the only counter to u is light. I hit a insane clip with the bow, 1v3 i play the bow like AWP from csgo, just shoot and dash, keep giggle peak. Its insanely fun to use too. Would recommend for people who have good knowledge of pre-aiming.

Sniper main here. Yeah, the nerf did kinda hurt, but it does make sense imo. In ranked, you won't really be shooting people from more than 100 meters since you gotta stick with your team, and at those ranges the bullet drop is still very manageable, so the only ones really affected by this change are power shift roof campers.
There is no way the AKM is better than the FAMAS. AKM is easily the worst of the 3 ARs and it's absolute garbage at longer ranges. Your argument for putting the FAMAS where it is boils down to 'the Pike is better', ok well the Pike is significantly better than the AKM at pretty much every range. You have absolutely 0 chance of dealing with mid to long range PIKE with the AKM but you can actually do some damage to them with FAMAS.
