  • This is a guide for the first timers and people who want to save money by doing their own maintenance. I also include how to change the cabin air filter.
    For your hemi you need
    MO-899 Oil Filter
    5.7L 7 quarts 5w-20
    6.4L 7 quarts 0w-40.

    Been doing my own oil change for about a year now on my 2020 6.4L. Super simple and saves a lot of money doing it yourself.

      @@ReidPerformance I have a question for you. I’m getting this slight vibration while the car is at idle. Not sure what it is but I know it got much better after I changed spark plugs. I do have a valve cover leak that I’m about to get fixed and I noticed my old spark plugs were drenched in oil. A few forums have said it could be the motor mounts, but the mounts are on back order. Not sure what to do next 🤔

    I always put some oil on the new filter gaskets with my finger also

    always pre fill the oil filter with oil....

      I never have and it has never been an issue.. but I understand the theory behind it

    Doesn’t dodge recommend pennzoil only ?

      @ogeesmastinos7751.. Pennzoil is what they used. AS long as it is synthetic and the same viscosity... Then it is not an issue. Mopar just didn't want to pay the price of certifying any other oil brands lol
