    Genocide perpetrated by the british empire in India between 15-29 million Indians died of starvation in British induced famines. The most famous example was, of course, was the great Bengal (What now is Bangladesh) famine during the World War II when 4 million people died because Winston Churchill deliberately as a matter of written policy proceeded to divert essential supplies from civilians in Bengal to sturdy tummies and Europeans as reserve stockpiles.
    He said that the starvation of anyway underfed Bengalis mattered much less than that of sturdy Engels ' - Churchill's actual quote. And when conscious stricken British officials wrote to him pointing out that people were dying because of this decision, he peevishly wrote in the margins of file, “Why hasn’t Gandhi died yet?"
    So, all notions that the British were trying to do their colonial enterprise out of enlightened despotism to try and bring the benefits of colonialism and civilisation to the benighted. Even I am sorry - Churchill's conduct in 1943 is simply one example of many that gave light to this myth.
    As others have said on the proposition - violence and racism were the reality of the colonial experience. And no wonder that the sun never set on the British empire because even God couldn’t trust the English in the Dark.

    Let me take the World War I as a very concrete example since the first speaker Mr. Lee suggested these couldn't be quantified. Let me quantify World War I for you. Again I am sorry from an Indian perspective as others have spoken about the countries. One-sixth of all the British forces that fought in the war were Indian - 54 000 Indians Muslims actually lost their lives in that war, 65 000 were wounded and another 4000 remained missing or in prison.
    Indian taxpayers had to cough up a 100 million pounds in that time’s money. India supplied 17 million rounds of ammunition, 6,00,000 rifles and machine guns, 42 million garments were stitched and sent out of India and 1.3 million Indian personnel served in this war. I know all this because the commemoration of the centenary has just taken place.
    But not just that, India had to supply 173,000 animals 370 million tonnes of supplies and in the end the total value of everything that was taken out of Greater India (What now is Pakistan, Bangladesh, India) by the way was suffering from recession at that time and poverty and hunger, was in today's money 8 billion pounds. You want quantification, it’s available.
    World War II, it was was even worse - 2.5 million Indians in uniform. I won't believe it to the point but Britain's total war debt of 3 billion pounds in 1945 money, 1.25 billion was owed to Greater India (pakistan,Bangladesh,India) and never actually paid back.

    It was at the start of the Russia invasion this year that I realised how heavily propagandised the Anglo Saxon west has been, to the extent that no one should really expect them to be capable of being right on anything. There are people who genuinely think Damascus and Baghdad were always a mess, and uncivlised - they were trying to make a distinction between why civilised Ukrainian refugees are more worthy than Iraqis and Syrians who didn’t come from civilisations. wtf. of all people, SYRIANS and IRAQIS ??? they were famed all the way down africa and all the way to the far east when the eastern old world had never even heard of europe, never mind Ukraine. i lost respect for the west immediately in that moment.

    there also two previous famines in bengal and neighbouring bihar. the worst in the 18th century when at least 12 million died out of a much smaller population. when the brits took over the mughal areas they found the nughals had a grain tax on farmers. the mughals saved that grain for years when the moonsoon failed and crops fails as a result. in the crop failure years they distributed grain back to the farmers. they were not making money on the tax, the mughals made most of their tax savings from trade taxes and taxes on middle class businesses not farmers. so the brits took over and took the garin and sold it and forget about help from the government during crop failures. that's british laissex faire capitalism. in fact the british used famine a a tool to destroy societies they wanted to crush all over the empire. they did it from ireland to inda, from kenya to south africa and een exacerbated fa,ihes in europe. duting the irish famine the backward despots of suatria and russia had no starvation because they fed their people. the british tried to rig the grain markets to profit from the russian and ausrtrian demand for grain and sold grain from ireland. that grain was enough to feed the irish two times over. that's laissez faire capitalism with a serious military .

Yanukovych was going to offer the prime ministership to yatzenuk instead of olenvrook.nuland was telling pyatt that yatz is the right guy, he's got the experience. She also said that we should get Biden to call yanukovych and tell him atta boy, for making the decision to compromise with the opposition. And then she said we shoukd get the UN to come in and make it official. She said they would ask the UN to do it but they are dragging their feet so fuck them. The reason why she was in a hurry to get it official was because she said russia is goin to try and torpedo this whole compromise and peace. Which they did.
      Oh and also people claim that it shows nuland hand picking ukranian politicians but yet nuland says Klitschko should stay out of politics for a while and learn and what did he do? He immediately went out and ran from mayor of kiev. And was elected. So so much for nuland calling the shots huh.

    54:00 There was a massive Ukrainian military buildup on the border with Donetsk according to Russia. There was an imminent threat of attack against civilian populations which would have amounted to ethnic warfare and genocide against Russian Ukrainians. That was more than enough of a justification under international law for Russia to involve itself. Also, the Minsk Accord would have avoided conflict and was repeatedly pushed by Russians despite 13,000 ethnic Russian Ukrainians having been killed during the conflict since 2014. I think Russia would do a great job defending itself in international criminal court, much better than the United States and it's involvement during the Maidan coup.

    “In order to bring a nation to support the burdens and maintain great military establishments, it is necessary to create an emotional state akin to war psychology. There must be "the portrayal" of external menace. This involves the development, to a high degree, of the "hero nation" and the "villain nation" ideology and the arousing of the population to a sense of Sacrifice. Once these exist, we have gone a long way to the path of war.”

    The Soviet union collapsed due to OPEC agreeing with USA to increase oil and gas output exponentially but now OPEC is with Russia and are refusing to increase oil and gas output, this is resulting in the collective west bankruptcy, collective west will loose this current 2.0 cold economic warfare..

    • @transsylvanian9100
      @transsylvanian9100 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Soviet Union didn't collapse it was destroyed by traitors against the will of a majority of its people. There were many reasons for why that happened but neither OPEC nor the cold war arms race/economic warfare were major factors.
      The real major factors were internal systemic issues like the revisionist post 1950s economics that had a negative feedback loop with the political structures (similar to Yugoslavia where national republics started to develop proto-bourgeois classes whose interests competed with those of the other republics leading to secessionist movements) and a loss of faith in the whole internationalist socialist project and in the global class war among the leadership and the professional administrators, not least of all because of the successful propaganda campaign waged by the West to get the Soviets to believe that detente and peaceful coexistence was possible between the two systems.
      Sadly there was insufficient pushback from the Soviet public against the traitorous policies of the revisionist leadership because they too were fooled by propaganda that sold them a utopian and completely false picture of life under capitalism.

    Ok, I don't know about the US involvement in ousting Yanukovich in 2014. But I do know that the only reason Yanukovich turned down the EU deal was because Russia offered such an astronomically better one! Any serious politician would have been easily tempted by the better deal, just for their country's sake. This is from Wikpedia itself (hardly Russian propaganda):
    "Protests originally erupted in November 2013 after Yanukovych refused to sign the association agreement with the EU at a meeting of the Eastern Partnership in Vilnius, Lithuania, choosing closer ties with Russia instead. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov had asked for €20 billion (US$27 billion) in loans and aid. The EU was willing to offer €610 million ($838 million) in loans, but Russia was willing to offer $15 billion, as well as cheaper gas prices. In addition, the EU demanded major changes to Ukraine's regulations and laws, but Russia did not stipulate regulatory or legal adjustment of such nature or scale."

    If you watch at 26:25, the clip of Tucker Carlson, how his white supremacy is really showing. He says when colonialist British left India, they left ‘the whole civilization heritage to India, as if India people should be so thankful of the British Colonial suppression, as if the India people never had their own cultures and civilizations. 🙄
    People like Tucker Carlson, they may coincide or sideline certain issues with us from time to time, but they are mainly motivated on certain issues to oppose their opponent party, be it right or wrong, for better or worse, but the end of day, it’s hard to trust a white supremacist.

    • @jared_r
      @jared_r ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think Tucker’s views are based off of opposition to democrats or support for republicans or Trump. It’s more complex than that because he’s opposed Trump, the Republican Party, and even the ADL before. He has agreed with AOC and actually defended her once when she criticized Amazon. I would guess that his script writer tries to keep an idea of audience sentiment while also putting in some propaganda that the network wants. This was clearly not based on his audience or even opposing democrats; it was just embarrassing for everyone lol.

    There are so much misinformation out there, especially from the English author. I had read at least 10 books about Cambodia history and all of them listed the Mandarin this and that. But, none of the book listed how did the Mandarin become the controlling language of Cambodia officialdom. Note: the Mandarin did not become the official language of China until after the KMT took power in 1911. It was the Nguyen Dynasty that first made the Mandarin (Han Viet) as an administration language of Vietnam in the early 19th Century. This was the disinformation the English world's authors truncated to instigation hate against the local Chinese living within Cambodia. Most if not all English historian also truncated that 2/3 of Cambodia territory was a vessel of Vietnam and Mandarin was the administration language of Cambodia under the Nguyen Lord. Here is the truth. The Nguyen's Mandarin and their descendant controlled Cambodia since Nguyen Phuc Anh, the first Emporer of Nguyen Dynasty in 1802, until today. Like any colonial power, the Nguyen lord subverted Cambodia's people intellectually in the territory under there control. The Thiounn (the Thiounn brothers), Son Sann, Son Ngoc Thanh, Son Ngoc Minh, Lon Nol, Ieng Sary and Son Sen. They were most likely all descendant of the Mandarin because the Vietnamese intellectual subversion of Cambodian didn't effected their Mandarin home education system. Pol Pot wasn't a Mandarin descendant but his family was a Nguyen's Mandarin loyalist because they always alliance themselves with the Nguyen's Mandarin descendant including Pol Pot alliance with the Thiounn brothers and Ieng Sary (Kim Trang). Tha Pen, Pol Pot's grandfather was killed in a French ambushed in 1886. It was only 23 years after Cambodia exist the dual calamities with the help of French protectorate. Before the French Protectorate, Cambodia need to paid tributes to both Vietnamese and Thai, and the people had to dug canals and moving earth similar to the Khmer Rouge era. Tha Pen was killed for helping organized supplies for anti-French movement.
    Vietnamese intellectual subversion of Khmer is found in Ben Kiernan's book "How Pol Pot Come to Power" only one sentence on page XIV.
    Pol Pot's grandfather was killed by the French ambushed found in Philip Short's book "Pol Pot: The History of Nightmare" Chapter I.

    Question:
    In reference to the war on Ukraine, why is Europe ( France, Germany etc. etc.) seemingly willing to destroy their industrial industries for the US?
    Answer:
    Because they were super confident that the fuel needs neccessary for the maintence of their industries would be replaced by the extraction of oil and other resources from Africa.
    Hence the panic about what is happening in Niger and other African countries.
