=ABOUT ME=
Hi, my name's Reece. I'm a passionate Creator, Transportation Planner, and Software Developer, interested in rapid transportation all around my home base of Toronto, Canada, as well as the whole world!
I know that guy must have ridden through this station a timer to when I was in Toronto for a year almost 4 dozen years ago. I never had a reason to get off the train and see all of this which I am quite impressed with. Toronto always brings back such good feelings. I’ve really really appreciated the high quality of the transit system when I was there and sometimes when I have nothing else to do, I would ride it just to go places and see something different. I think too many people in North America still don’t know what a good transit system Can bring to life and the joy of going places without having to fight traffic and worry about parking. The better that they will design public transit system is in a large city with congested, working, living, and entertainment spaces, the better the city is and the better the quality of daily life is.
This may not be the most glamorous station, but it has all the basics, for a washroom on the INSIDE of the fare paid zone (looking at you VMC) and a billion entrances and a bunch of stores which really add to the overall mood of the station.
Thank you both once more for the excellent content! would love to see a video discussing at what point different rapid transit options make the most sense for cities: From BRT to LRT to Medium RT like the Skytrain to Subways! I think that's a really interesting topic worth discussion!
Edit: Also a future of Transit in Edmonton or Calgary would be pretty neato!
The two bus terminals at Finch are a must go to whenever I'm in Toronto to fan. Been there in 2006, 12 and 16 and I'll be back there in September before driving up to Newmarket GO Terminal and then meeting my cousin and his family for dinner nearby.
Realistically, if they extended the subway up to Cummer and Steeles, they would be able to reduce the bus platform to just the Finch buses and make it much a more manageable station.

I enjoyed the views of Finch. They look so much better than New York City. The Finch subway station can use an elevator. From a native New Yorker, the Toronto Transit Commission is the best rapid transit system in North America.

As stupid as this may sound, I really hope line 1 does not get extended to Richmond Hill. All the overcrowding that will be “relieved” by the new line 3 will be brought straight back onto line 1!!
@@RMTransit Which plan says that it'll be extended to Sheppard?
@@mrrobot5963 it's always been the long term plan to extend the relief line to Sheppard, and it's been studied extensively. Whether or not that currently, a topic of discussion is more of a reflection of the current state of things.
