    Thank you so much for sharing! I have low density hair at my crown as well and am considering getting sisterlocks. You are so positive and encouraging!! Thank you so much for letting me know that I'm not alone. I truly feel more empowered and closer to making the decision to get Sisterlocks. Thanks again!

    Thank you so much for explaining low density! I don't have sisterlocks...but I do have microbraid locs! So this info was VERY VERY HELPFUL! Thanks

    I too have low density, especially at the top. Makes my hair flat. I started my locks with 3 inches. I'm now 1 1/2 yrs in. I got a re-ty a week ago. So flat. I braided and rolled it now I have some volume. My hair is past my ears, slow growing. But I love my journey. My truth is not your truth. Thefore, my hair us not your hair. That's how I look at it. It is what it is. I embrace it and keep on trucking and don't care what people think. I also have cowlicks (receding hairline). I still truly enjoy having product free hair. It's gonna do what it's gonna do.😁

      I have the exact same texture with cow licks like my dad. My hair has always been like this! I’m getting ready to embark on this journey, and I’m looking forward to it!

      @@kendrawade8071 Hi, my cow licks are from my (twin)my mom..lol. Our right side is worst than the left. We embrace it and even laugh about it😂😂
      I hope you can embrace and enjoy your journey as I have/do. It is was it is. I don't know about you, but I like me and I am more than my hair!!!!!
      I wear a side part on my left, to hang over my right. I haven't pulled into any ponytails yet. I've rolled and pin curled. It gives it some body that last about a week.
      Well, I've rambled enough. Welcome to Sisterlocks. Njoy🤗🙌

      It's so good to hear somebody talk about their cow licks cause I have those too and I haven't heard anyone talk about them At All regarding Sista Locs....

      Just a small spray of water if that. My loctician said no products are allowed.

    I just got mines yesterday and boy it’s giving scalp lol I have long thick hair or at least I thought. Thanks for this video. I don’t do anything to my hair when it was loose and natural. I plan to allow it to grow. When should I wash my hair for the first time? I have braidlocs. They’re kinda long to my bra strap.

    • @sislockedloaded684
      @sislockedloaded684  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought I had to wait to wash , but my loctician washed mine the day we finished the install. Braid locs seem like they would stay in pretty secure but I would ask your loctician. Did she say to braid and band before washing?

    What size r your locs?

    • @sislockedloaded684
      @sislockedloaded684  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they would be called “micro” sized. Honestly I’m not sure though as I haven’t seen a standard on what is considered small vs medium. I would guess micro or small though.

    How long was your hair at install? Our hair type and lengths look very similar. I started 14-17 inches low density with I think 457 locks. Thanks for sharing your journey.

    • @sislockedloaded684
      @sislockedloaded684  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have a similar number of locks and length as well. I have different lengths all over but 15-17 inches is about right. The install took nearly 4 days!
