That’s honestly a tough question. They’re both very capable and look great. I feel the solid look of the GX is what I’d lean towards.
LX all day everyday
If money being no object; I’d pick the LX, some off road capabilities but more everyday use. In the Toyota box it’s going to be interesting with the 4Runner splitting volume on both sides of the model 🤔
Since there's no way of actually getting a new GX for the next year or so I'd go for the LX
Gx is more good looking imo
Lx will never be volume mover with price point. I would take lx over gx any day especially with new weird looking gx550. Seems to be better built than a gx

Do you have any information about the air compressor seen in the drivers side of the cargo area? What’s the brand and how does it fit? I don’t see it in the gx550 configurator

Unit volume will determine the winner. Between all the Lexus & Toyota off road space there’s going to be some casualties.

The LX600 doesnt even have E-KDSS. The GX550 is the true land cruiser now.
Lx600 is more in the luxury end
LX600 has Active Height Adjustment suspension which the GX does not have. Height Adjustable suspension is far more beneficial offroad and on road than EKDSS is. Matter of fact, all legendary 4x4 like Gwagon and RANGE ROVER do not have EKDSS but instead have Height Adjustable Suspension.

I am stuck between the GX550 Overtrail (not sure on price) and a 2024 4Runner TRD PRO ($58,000). Cannot wait for next gen 4Runner. GX550 will be pricey but more lux. HELP PLEASE. Opinions??
I’d Shay the Overtrail will be mid to upper 60’s. If I was in the market and could afford both I’d do the GX
@@TRDJon I have heard mid to upper 70s for the Overtrail + as it's the highest trim level. Mid to upper 60s would be a bargain - I hope you are right :)

I think the non-turbo V-6 Honda Pilot has a better engine than the new line up Land Cruisers and GX550
I think, no one who wants a Lexus buys a Honda! Besides, Honda Pilot is a unibody kind of crossover, while GX550 and LC250 are body on frame off-road vehicles with locking differentials.
You’re not going to get cross shoppers between a luxury brand vehicles at that level and a pilot but anyway 😆
Exactly, we have 3 Lexuses in my household and we never cross shopped them with Hondas. Just bought my wife a new NX350h, The closest we shopped was the Porsche Macan base and a Tesla MYLR.
As far as what reliability, mpg, smoothness? What are you even claiming with a statement like “better”
That new Honda engine is poorly done. Not even 300hp or torque. MPG is awful.

The LX is not to big. Same wheelbase for 30 years. Length has barely grown. It is the #1 choice in the Middle East. It’s 3” longer than the GX
