I was honoured to work there & so sad my health went wrong & I can no longer work at all now. The engineering on the T50 is just unbelievable, it's another GM work of art. I have been fortunate to work on quite a few car projects, including the XJ220 & the SLR. The T50 is design & engineering perfection. So pleased to see it's success. Best wishes to all my friends at GMA.

Why do I have tears in my eyes? Why am I so emotional? Why do I choke up whenever the V12 "wakes up" to give power?
Is it because this may be the pinnacle of internal combustion personal transport? The final crescendo of a soprano's farewell performance before stepping off the stage for ever? The last passionate battle cry of a class of machine that motivates itself to motion through the careful application of highly tuned controlled explosions, in the face of the passionless indifferent silence of electric propulsion.

Watching this, Dario's commentary, talking about the passion behind Murray's work, looking at that cabin, that music playing in the background...almost brings tears to my eyes. I was a child when the F1 came out, it is and always has been my favorite supercar, and I thought nothing would ever top it. Until I saw this video, with this T50 model I just discovered tonight while watching F1 videos.
    How time flies.

Makes me happy that the whole project was so thoroughly and tastefully documented for future generations. Also, I'm glad I got the first video on my recommended as soon as it came out. Probably due to my F1 obsession.

That smile..said it all to me. Every time I watch one of these movies about Gordons creations I fall in love with a beautiful car, the thrill of acceleration, narrow windy roads all over again..I'll sadly never get to drive one of these, I do hope to catch a glimpse of one though, here in Australia. I did ogle an F1 in a London showroom, many years ago and I had a large diecast model (the only one I ever bought), I loved that car so much. This Car though...gosh..so much I could say and yet it's really all about a feeling and Gordon, you've captured that perfectly imo.

What a machine. What a machine. A proper car, for drivers, with a gear stick, and a handbrake, and what has to be one of the most amazing sounding engines ever installed into a road car. It's an evolution of the F1, and, you can be sure Gordon has designed it to be a useable car. Sadly only the super rich with deep pockets will get to own one!

Amazing how incredibly fast this car went from a napkin sketch to full production ready in this short amount of time. The fact it’s one of the most engineering finest makes it that more impressive. Just goes to show you how quickly things can get done if you’re not ruled by committee and accountants and just have this one focused, singular attention to make the world’s best driver’s car

What a brilliant testament to the genius mind of Gordon and his team and of course to those at Cosworth Northampton. For us mere mortals we can but dream of what the driving experience might be so thanks to Dario and Gordon as they continue to take us closer with their superbly filmed updates. I cannot imagine any car eclipsing the engineering and design excellence of the T50, possibly the greatest achievement of them all.
