Wow, that was not a tidy up, it was a transformation! I am surprised the grass was still alive under all those shrubs. How many bags of waste did you fill? Sadly some of the shrubs are well past their best, personally I would love some flowers now that the light can come through again!
This back area is nice, but there isn't any color, it's all green . Would be nice to see some summer flowering plants. But you are doing a great job.

That was a wonderful transformation to watch. Extra points for painstakingly pulling all that twitch out of the beds. I have a similar issue with ground elder, one small piece left behind and boom its back ten fold.

I think I would’ve left the height on some of the shrubs at the back of the garden. They afford privacy from the overlooking houses. I guess they’ll regrow. That’s what I love - and hate - about keeping a garden!😊

Superb job guys. What a difference. If I might make one suggestion, how about investing in a small mulching mower? You'd reduce all that waste to about 25%, get loads more in a customer's bin. We have an ALKO one, great little machine.
