Hi Coldcc, thanks for watching my video! To date, the wheels and calipers look amazing. I found that the trick is to have at least 3 coats of each spray (primer, paint, clearcoat). A good overall thick coat makes it look amazing and holds up really good. I did the same to our 2020 mustang. Check out that video! Let me know if you do your Edge!
Hi Jeremy, thanks for watching! Really appreciate it! Please take a look at all the links in the video description below. I listed the paint, primer and clear coat. Peace!
Hi Mauricio, thank you for watching my video man! Yes, if I remember correctly, I think I used about 4 cans of paint, and about two and a bit more of the primer and clear coat. For best results, 3 coats of primer and clear coat, and 4 coats of paint. Don't drive the car until the next day so it drys good. . Good luck my friend!
Hey what's up man, great job on the edge lookin sweet!, what size spacers you installed 25mm all around or 25 rear and 20 front? I saw the video when you installed them but the front ones looked like they sticked a lil more out, but now it looks the other way around, the front looks more in than the rear which is the look I like, well either way looks nice but u know what I mean lol
Yo Jimmy! Thanks for checking out my video man! Really appreciate it 🙏! The spacers are 25mm all the way around. Maybe the front looks like it sticks out more because of the curvature of the fender walls? But yeah, 25mm my friend! Which Edge do you have? These suvs look amazing with all these appearance mods for sure! Chrome delete is key! Haha.. let me know if you have any other questions my friend, PEACE!
Jimmy, if you paint your wheels, I suggest to paint the calipers as well since you'll have access to them anyway 😉. Check out my video how I did the calipers! A full day's job for sure but we'll worth it!
Thanks man I just ordered 4 25mm spacers, I have the 2015 edge sport in black, I have done a few mods already I installed the front lip i ordered from Europe, custom side skirts from aerotekkdesign and a rear side bumper lip from ebay which goes perfect with all the lips, I also did the gloss black powder coat wheels with red calipers and I have the h&r lowering springs which havent had the time to install them so they can give it a nice mean stance, overall the edge coming out well
Are you going to install the front lip again? By the way it looked really dope! I mean it still looks dope lol but you know what I mean it gives it a nice extra touch
@@jimmyadames7369 Ah man you have the super fast sport! Nice!! I'd love to check out the lip spoiler and side skirts! I'm sure those must look awesome yo!
Hi Matthew, thanks for watching!! To date the rims are holding up amazing! A week or two after I painted them, ui polished and ceramic coated them. It's a must to keep the shine but yeah man. Super happy with this Diy. !!
@@matthewrozumialski8196 Hi Matthew, hmm I don't recall exactly but for sure it was 1 can each for the calipers, and about 3 cans each for the wheels.. maybe 4 of the paint because I painted inside section of the wheels too!. The key is minimum 3 coats each. 4 if possible. This will give you a very solid and hard coat.
@@ecobooster8298 I haven’t yet, lol. Little to busy lately. I want to! Just don’t know exactly how many cans and such to buy yet. Plus to find a weekend to do it
Good job man, they look clean 👌
@ricoinsanity, thanks ! The Edge was awesome while I had it. Super reliable actually!.
PEACE ✌️!
5 months ago. How are they looking now?
