Kez! I wish videos transmitted smell! I love turning Camphor Laurel! I really like the pov camera because it is as though I am turning the piece with you. I don't know why other you tube presenters don't utilise it. The voice over style of presentation is great, it allows you to control the content better, BUT I really like you talking while you turn. Add that to pov camera and it is like being there with you. Cheers, mate.
Thank you so much for this, Ron. Just confirmed my thoughts too. Cheers mate.
Kez
I agree.
Thank you for the acknowledgement Kerry, and I am really pleased that many of my tips and techniques from our woodturning club video library have been of benefit to you.
Thank you so much for your support, Glenn. It means the world to me. The videos in the online Woodturning club have been instrumental in my practice, and I can’t recommend them enough. For anyone interested, here is the link to Glenn’s website and video library.
Cheers,
Kez.

Wotcha mate. For me, I like the voiceover as it gives you time to think about what you want to highlight …. But, I love the spontaneity of your live commentary. That probably doesn’t help much, as I’m sitting on the fence with that question 😁 Great vid as usual though!
A really nice, simple design which shows of that gorgeous wood beautifully!
I am loving the new style of narration and your POV perspective, too. Nice one, buddy! 👍
Cheers, Tom and thank for the feedback 🤝
Kez
Excellent as usual. I do prefer the shots that are a distance from you, narration is spot on !
Thanks for the feedback, I like the narrative feel for this video. It was nice to just turn and then talk later I guess.
Cheers mate 🤝
Another great video. I like the new camera angles and the voice over but don't stop the sounds of actually turning. I find they are very helpful as well. Cheers.
Thank you for the feedback, Ken. I will keep that in mind for the next turning project for sure. Cheers mate
Camphor is in my top 5 for sure. Love it, not only for the smell but the color as well. Not to mention that it turns well and takes any detail I’ve attempted to put into a piece. Great turning work you did here. This type of video is about my favorite. The chin cam isn’t bad, but I understand that too much movement can make some dizzy or sick. Great bowl, great video. Thanks b
Fantastic video!! Thank you for taking the time to share your expertise with us!!
This is overall one of the best presentations of turning I have seen in a long time, I have shared it with my utah woodturner assoc. Group. Thanks, Kerry. Glad to to see your hand improvement.😂
Thank you so much, Ron. I must admit, my turning has been inspired by many great individuals. In my video, I mentioned a few of them, with one of the key influences being my father-in-law. Your support means a lot to me, mate. Cheers,
Kez.
Beautiful bowl mate! Loved the video and the narration was great. :)
Thanks mate, I appreciate that🤝
Beautiful work, very well presented.
Thanks heaps, Dan. Did you like the POV camera style?
I do like the POV camera style, it helps while explaining your cutting techniques. Excellent job.@@KerryCorney
Kerry, you used the right amount of POV in this video and at the right times. I like the narration and the real-time turning. This bowl came out looking outstanding. Glad to see that you are able to turn wood again as you continue to rehab that hand.
Thank you for noticing mate. I really appreciate that🤝
Another great video mate! Liking the voice over. It focuses on the message but still having the visuals that are interesting. Nice timber BTW!
Thank you so much for helping me to decide mate. I really appreciate it.
Cheers,
Kez
A really beautiful bowl. Thank you for the great video on turning one.
Thank you so much, Johnny. I am glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully found it helpful.
Cheers,
Kez
Awesome job big guy. Love seeing how many things we do similar but always find subtle differences. Love the fact that everyone can accomplish our craft in different ways. I kind of think a lot of that is different body type change the way muscle memory kicks in. Same thing with a golf swing. No such thing as perfect swing that’s every golfer. So glad you are back at it youngster. Makes my day when video pops up
Thank you so much, Ron. I always smile when I see your comments. You’re exactly right - there are many ways to accomplish the same thing. I really appreciate the feedback, mate. Hope you’re doing well. Cheers,
Kez
Currently watching the video as I type this and yes, I do like this style of narrative video and hope you do more. I enjoy the "live" style videos too where you talk as you work, but the narration allows you to add more detail than you may not have thought to mention during the live version. I'm certainly very happy with either style, but I really didn't like the silent ones you tried. I'm glad you're turning and teaching again.
Thank you so much for the feedback. I really appreciate you taking the time to tell me this. Hope you're well.
Cheers,
Kez
Great video Kerry. Awesome looking bowl.
Thank you so much, Ross. I appreciate that.
Cheers,
Kez
Man O man Kezz! That's a drop dead gorgeous bowl!!!! I also like narration format of the video. It does a better job of explaining what you're doing. However, I also enjoy the silly comments you make in your others. Take care mate, Stuart
Thank you so much Stu. I might have to mix it up and keep you guessing then. Thank you for the feedback mate. 🤝
Cheers,
Kez
Great video mate. Keep crushing it!
Thank you for suggesting the voice-over 👌🤝
Cheers mate
Beautiful work and skill 👊🏼👊🏼
Thank you mate.
I Appreciate ya🤝
Great video Kerry and I really love the look of the bowl. Your videos are really evolving but I must say, I miss the sound of the whip…Take care, stay safe and I look forward to your next video.
Cheers Earl, I really appreciate that mate. The “Whip” will be back shortly👌🤝
Just gorgeous. ❤
Thank you so much, Mandy. Hope you enjoyed the style of the video with the narration. Cheers, Kez
Lovely work Kerry
Thank you, Rob. I think the voiceover is a bit.
Another awesome vid mate. Love it.

Great video and beautiful work.
Thank you brother. 🤝
Hey Kerry, love your work and the way you go about sharing, very generous anda great help to many I’m sure. If you are happy to I’d like to have your take on pricing your work as well as options you use to sell you work, craft markets, website, galleries etc. Cheers Mal.
Thank you for the support, Mal. I can't take full credit for my turning skills. As a frequent viewer of my channel, you're aware of the influential turners I admire and aspire to match in skill one day. I appreciate that though, a lot.
Regarding pricing, I made an old video about it a while back. I'll drop the link here: th-cam.com/video/dYCHIc0efNA/w-d-xo.html
Thank you again mate.
Cheers,

Morning Kezza! Awesome Video - and thanks for sharing your knowledge. The video footage is great - especially the POV stuff. Since your last sharpening video - i got my hands on the Tormek Jig for gouges, so now im finally able to sharpen my tooling properly... chalk and cheese..
Thanks so much, mate. I really appreciate your support. Please keep me updated on how the jig works out. As you probably know, try not to leave the tool on the wheel for too long 👌.
Cheers mate,
Kez
@@KerryCorney well, im assuming once i form the new edge with the jig, its as you said, just quick touch ups.
Great vids boss.
Thank you so much, David.
Great mate. Love the narration.
Was that walnut oil you used. What brand, where do you get it. I’ll look at the video description.
08:04 Dr woodshop walnut oil from
Amazon.
Cheers for the feedback and comment, mate.
🤝
Really love the wood. Never thought of rough turning a bowl and finishing when dried but i have two big cherry burls that ill give a try. What faceshield/respirator are you using?
Hey David, thanks so much. I learned this method from Glenn Lucas, and it’s a fantastic and safe way of remounting cored bowls. I forgot to mention the mask in the video. For a full video and breakdown of costs, here is the link: th-cam.com/video/P9vuDtkvOPM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6R582v00Jquo7MGJ

It’s amazing how narration changes a video mate! What changed your mind to add that in?
Thought to explain what I was doing and where I got my info from to help others out. Didn't feel the vibe😎? Or liked the previous
@@KerryCorney no it was great man! Just incredible how much it changed the vibe of the video 😂
Your mother-in-law's broom stick? Did she ride it often?
❤
I like the format mate, but you lost a bit of your usual energy in the voice over. Bring some of the banter and it'll go good
