Look at "Ebroin's Miniatures".... He is also a very good Model Builder.... 👍 Mr. Damek.... A another outstanding and perfect Build! Maybe next time.... A Submarine with Interior!? Lg
@@idaemonplasmo oh Lawd! That's so awesome! And you're using weathering pencils too. I'm definitely gonna finish this when I get home from work. Do you have plans to make more?
Some cool ideas : - To recreate the texture of the dashboard, you can stick some paper masking tape, then paint it. It gives the appearance of Alcantara. It works also fine for the seats ; - You might want to flatten the tires a bit to create the illusion of weight on the wheels ; - I use pigments for the mud on the really dirty parts - Maybe add some lines where the wipers go on the windshield ? BTW, always amazing realizations on this channel
One of my favorite Lancias. They were such pirates when taking on the mighty Quattro, but hey, they won, and it was within the rules. If you want a great story of a dirty car, the Bentley Blower after Woolf Barnato won Le Mans in 1928 in one. They were so pleased with it (and themselves) that they drove it to the afterparty while it was still dirty from the race. Though give that it was a 'track' race, the dirt would have been much darker than what you sprayed on this one.
I just finished watching a documentary about Michele Mouton and I wanted to build an Audi Quattro that was weathered. Great timing on your build! I appreciate that you share techniques on how to achieve great results. Thank you for sharing.
So many motorsport modellers out there will appreciate this build Mr P. My ears flicked up when you mentioned Le Mans projects. As far as aircraft go, would love you to do a serious weathered build of the new ICM B-26 Marauder.
My god this is awesome, really good job ❤ The photo from the front is literally indistinguishable from the real car, insane work! The only thing might be the weathering on the tires and rims, they look a little off to me. Maybe darker colors and darker shading on them. Especially the tread, if you drive dirty tires on tarmac or stone with speed (probably, if you have slics ;D) the dust and dirt is the first thing to go almost instantly. So probably dirt on the car and tire walls, but none on the tread, if they drove on tarmac last. I always love this combo of dirty slics on tarmac. The tire would also be extremely hot, soft and partially melted. So chunks of hot molten rubber in and around the fenders. Just a side note, I love the model and I would love to see some race car builds from you. I'm a motorsport fanatic but watched your videos for advice and just comfort. Hope you're doing well :)
I got to ride in one of these at what the driver called "40%" and it's absolutely amazing. Visceral experience. I can only imagine what full throttle would be in one in a rally setup, because that car was no longer in rally spec, it was slightly more cushy for us mere mortals' internal organs. Unreal car, i could see and feel why this was the beast it was.
As a boomer, the 037, S4, S1 Urquatro, 205 T16 etc. are integral parts of my youth. Thanks for your eye for detail and an excellent rendition of an absolute legend from times gone by.
I suppose you should already know, but by putting the tires on a round support and rotating them with a drill and sandpaper, you can get the typical "marbles" in the tires. In the case that the car runs on asphalt. Great job! I love scale models with typical racing wear.
Man what an treat this is, PLASMO doing Group B rally car, and Lancia at that. I left a comment years ago that it would be awesome to see you do Delta S4, but the 037 is the second best thing, so thank you! More group B and rally cars in general would be greatly enjoyed indeed!
WOW. Such a wonderful model, I enjoyed your video immensely, thank you so much for sharing this with us. Of course, if you wanted to make it "the perfect car build," then:- Do a Stratos ! Pretty Please with a sugar lump, I am willing to beg if it helps, please do a Stratos. It's my favourite car and I have one in my cupboard that was bought for me but I haven't had the courage to build it yet. Please !!
excellent job! I saw a few dozen of your videos and thought about taking the risk of making a model, as I had never done one before. I bought the basics and started, slowly and with a desire to learn. I already have some made and I will never be able to replicate the perfection you impose on your models. I've imagined dozens of times what it would be like if one day you replicated a group B car. Now the bar has been raised a lot... greetings from Portugal!
I'm not sure if its the skills , music , accent or a combination of the 3 that i find very calming about your videos . Learning so much from these videos . Many thanks as this is totally new to me and i am absorbing information like a sponge 😀.
It looks beautiful🤩, I love group B rally cars. The only thing that is missing, to my humble point of view, is masking under the windshield wipers area to show it clean.
How did you read my mind?!?! I've been drooling over starting this exact model but I'm gonna smooth it into a Kimera EV037! Your model and skills are amazing.
Fun kit and nice build. I wish the engine cover was molded separately since that is where all the fun detailing parts are on the 037. At least it isn't too much of a pain to cut and open it.
PLASMO here seems to enjoy detailing stuff that will barely be seen in the end product, so I kinda wanna see him tackle a modern Master Grade/Perfect Grade gunpla. Better yet, one with tons of opening hatches, like the PG Unleashed
Excellent as always, you should have masked the path of the windscreen wipers and then put a layer of dust over the windscreen. Removing the mask would show where the wipers have been in use thickening the dust where the wipers would push the dirty water
Wonderfull done David. I am more into the cars than militairy stuff. But you did it very well,as usual, you never disappoint and deliver beautifull results.
As with most of these racecar models by Hasegawa, they couldnt get the rights for the tobacco sponsorship. Thats why it just has blue rectangle decals on the doors. Thats where its supposed to say "Rothmans" in white, over the blue rectangle.
Excellent work. Get the Group B feel immediately. I just imagine a group of people backing from this model. I would love to see you tackle a Nascar Kit sometime.
Fantastic, David. I've been waiting for years for you to do a rally model and this certainly doesn't disappoint, great choice of subject and midel. There are so many potential dioramas too. Monte Carlo passes, Tuscan villages (San Remo) and Safari (Kenya) for example. Endless possibilities.
Absolutely stunning work. my only comment (and it really is nothing) the accelerator pedal of the 037 comes off the centre tunnel and dosnt hang down with the other pedals. Looks amazing non the less.
You should consider building a RWB / RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF Porche. It would be very challenging due to the nature of his customizations.... but, that's where you are exceptional. I could even imaging diorama possibilities. There's a huge following of his porches. Anyway, beautiful Lancia model!
Now! Let me start by saying this is absolutely incredible. All the added details are awesome. For my selfish self I can't help but want damage! Tapped back together as if it's winning a rally but has been thrashed and abused in the process. The pipe you made is really good but if it's to mimic the one in the picture, it's too small. The one in the picture is an inlet pipe of some description. Could be the inlet for the engine or even brakes. We used it for either and some times cooling for the cabin/cockpit. We used to call it "Donkey Dick" 🙊 was probably about 100mm sort of size. Please don't think I'm criticising you tho. This model, as with all your models, is amazing. I look forward to every video. Had to wait for the right time to watch this one as I knew I'd want to comment. Outstanding work my friend. 👌
amazing work as always, i have been watching your videos for years now and its always crazy to me the amount of details and research you put in to building these models!! keep it up much love from Portugal
Oooooooh .... I can't wait to watch this ... such a car ... I know youwill do it justice ... you are so gifted with your detailing .. I am sure this will be extra special PS .. please the Lancia S4 next
Sitting here eating breakfast. I see a video from PLASMO and the worlds "hell yeah" left my mouth.
Could of not said it better, its always a treat when he uploads
As did some of my cereal 😂
But please always with MARTINI 😂 CHEERS@@stephendrobinski2426
Right haha. Hands down the most enjoyable videos to watch on model building start to finish
Ok child or older immature child
One of my absolute favourite cars of all time, this phenominal rendition more than does it justice
Ohh yeah!!! One of the most iconic of all time!!! Walter Rohl drove out of his skin when Lancia went Against Audi back in the day. Pure Lancia!!!
sexy as f*ck!
agreed; sexy as f*ck!
Absolutely stunning. A Le Mans pit lane diorama from the 60s would be amazing! Look forward to seeing more
There’s no one that can build a model anywhere near the level that you do. It’s freaking amazing
Thank you very much.
Look at "Ebroin's Miniatures"....
He is also a very good Model Builder.... 👍
Mr. Damek.... A another outstanding and perfect Build!
Maybe next time.... A Submarine with Interior!?

Jun's Mini Garage is next level shit but Plasmo is an incredible modelmaker too
@@idaemonplasmolike your TH-cam videos on your r.c car.s

I already made some :-D th-cam.com/video/WbJRtnQvsOM/w-d-xo.html

I like your choice of background music. Not overpowering. Soft and relaxing while enjoying the build video.

I’ve been watching for over 10 years now and I am still amazed at the attention to detail and overall quality of every build. Amazing

Those final shots...it looks like a real full scale car! Would be amazing for a small scale film set.
I just finished watching a documentary about Michele Mouton and I wanted to build an Audi Quattro that was weathered. Great timing on your build! I appreciate that you share techniques on how to achieve great results. Thank you for sharing.
the good timing indeed :-D Thanks
I just ordered the same model last week. And now you raised the bar again. Makes me quite terrified of the build. Hahahaha! 😭
SO Impressive!! Excellent job, as always.
Wow, thank you!

I used to LOVE this car when I was a kid. When my dad got one, it felt so low to the ground, I was in seventh heaven while he was driving it.
Just started a phase of making rally cars - this couldn't have come at a better time!
Forza LANCIA!!! 🇮🇹 ...Good choice David👌🦾🦾🦾 ...Greetings, crazy Olli😉

Make a diorama with this masterpiece
Thanks. I wanted to, but I do not have driver and navigator figures. I will make a diorama next time
@@idaemonplasmo Could do one of it sitting on the Finish Line or Victory Lane kinda thing I guess. 🙂

Those little pieces of speed tape at the very end... so subtle, but just perfect. Really nice build Dawid.

Amazing work as always David! FYI, Fujimi has some good 1/24 figures, both drivers and mechanics. They're a bit older but still pretty decent.
Amazing. I could easily be convinced those final pictures were of the actual car
