Great point! It is definitely hard to dress Boho for business wear but you can incorporate some of the qualities like earth tones, suede instead of leather, flowy dresses, skirts, and slacks over more structured ones.
Great video. Looking forward for the next ones. It would be great to see some examples on how to incorporate these styles in more formal outfit like business formal or business casual outfits.
Thanks for your comment Joy! Some of the personal style types are easier to style with business attire, like the classic style type. But you can incorporate elements of each of the style types into business attire. For example- your shoes and handbag may be a tan suede pump or boot for Boho versus a black leather or nude leather option. Dresses and blouses may also have more flow to them and be in earth tones. You may wear a long earth-tone cardigan instead of a structured blazer.
Great video! I live that you mentioned Alessandra Ambrosio. She was my icon when I was a teenager. I live that you point out that people usually have 2-3 styles that they gravitate to, and this is true in my case! But Bohemian is my # 1 style love.
Thanks for this video. I enjoyed watching. I'm a classic dresser in earthy tones, but almost all of my accessories are boho. Give me floppy hats, denim, suede, fringe, hobo bags, long necklaces, drapey cardigans, all of it.
I think I'm a mix of boho and edgy boho. But then sometimes I'm more casual in t-shirt and leggings with a long cardigan. It really depends on the weather and my mood.
Could you make a video about how to mix boho with other styles. And boho for mature women. All those you showed seem, at least to me, more for younger age or younger looking Women. How about 40+??
Thanks for your video suggestion and question! I will be making a video about style elements for different types that I think will help with ways to mix style types. Several of the celebrities I featured are in their 40s but I don't know of any older women that I've seen do Boho style in a way that isn't costume-y.
Thank you! While all of the style types can be casual and dressy, some work easier to dress up. Boho is generally a more easy casual vibe. That said if you search for Kate Hudson and Nicole Richie "dressed up" they both are Boho style types. It's more about incorporating some of the Boho qualities into a more dressed up look.
I'm surprised you didn't show embroidered peasant tops and Indian cotton print dresses -- both very boho. Nice video though. You nailed some of the essential elements of the style.
I live abroad am a retired professor...have been preppy/classic blazers....and boho when I was a student in the 60s/70s. So tyese are naturals for me . Re the combining style question...I wear blazerd in winter here over my boho maxi, midi, skirts,,palazzo flowy pants, jeans inc.bell bottoms some boho tops with the jeans and vedtd look terrifc over a boho blouse tucked in .I buy Karma Road brand boho print skirts and tops always defnne my waist ak8ts of stone concho type belts am a 5'4" romantic body type with long blonde hair , blue eyes. I do wear pastel prints in boho style too. That hramd is sold only in small shops not online...I woshnit were sold onlome. In cities I wear preppy..I spend summers in Chicago. Rest of the year I am.in a mountain town in Central America tourist mecca for European Canadian and American young tourists. They especially LOVE my clothes so I am a walking ad for my favorite shop here. I combine the same boots I wear in cities , the same blazers, and the same sweaters...works great combining these...try it!
Thanks for your comment Dessa. I haven't seen it on older petite women to be able to share those examples with you. Does anyone have ideas to share with Dessa on this?

I like BoHO for weekends, but it is hard to dress professionally in boho style.

I tend to like Boho for my daily Casual wear with jeans? But outside of that, I'm Classic Chic👌🩷
Thanks for this video. I enjoyed watching. I'm a classic dresser in earthy tones, but almost all of my accessories are boho. Give me floppy hats, denim, suede, fringe, hobo bags, long necklaces, drapey cardigans, all of it.
So you might be a mix of classic boho style Coreen 😊
