From just the title and thumbnail alone at first, I expected this video to be a skit more than an analytical dive. So well made and written! Nicely paced, empathetic explaining both sides of the situation, and a great solution for our healthier future generations. This is why I prompt my friends to dive deeper into our feelings. My closest friends used to hate sharing their feelings, because (they admitted) it makes them feel vulnerable. But eventually after opening up to them myself, they are starting to share how they feel. And i sometimes have to remind them, if not us (ur bffs) that you're gonna share your thoughts and struggls with, then WHO?

eh you put it better than I could have. Was always thinking wtf why do my friends end up like heat seeking missiles for chicks whenever they break up, was thinking are they that thirsty? Turns out, they were thirsty for their p- ersonal connection/emotional support. Which also makes sense considering they always disappear. But like you said, I think it becomes a bit unfortunate since I feel it leads to a lot of male friendships I seen in older adults being more transactional/superficial.
Eh if anything I feel with a good group of dudes, despite the supposed shallow feel of the friendship you'd never doubt their loyalty and the feeling that they've got your back. Maybe they can't make you feel entirely better but you know they'll be there to pick you up
