    Lord have mercy. I was never a metal fan until one night in 2008 when i dropped a powerful tab of acid at a friend's party and someone threw on a 'Lamb Of God' album.

      been doing scream vocals myself for years. never hurt myself once. it's about technique. if it hurts. you are doing it wrong. the screams aren't your actual vocal chords. it's false chords and air from the diaphragm, not your throat.

    • @DragonTigerBoss
      @DragonTigerBoss ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@wakenow7612 False cord vocals wear out even with good technique. The distortion is caused by interference with your true cords, so you're effectively damaging yourself even when you do it correctly, but you can manage it. Uvular trill is pretty safe, but it makes your throat swell. Glottal and epiglottal fry you can do all day, but you can't project without a mic. You can always use a mix.

    Just saw them a couple days ago along with Mastodon, Kerry King and Malevolent. All the bands did great, but LoG was a whole other level. They played Ashes of the Wake in it’s entirety, amazing show I can’t say enough. Probably the best concert I’ve ever been to tbh

    I saw LOG with SlipKnot, Bullet for my Valentine, and Motionless in White and LOG was so good. It was loud and brutal and me and my buddy loved every minute of it!!!

    Saw them March 2022. Randy was sick and couldn’t go but had another gifted singer sing for him. My nephew said he did amazing. I personally am not a LOG fan.

    You’re kidding? Not for nothing Randy doesn’t sing. He f*ckin growls and snarls. Why the vocal warmup exercises? Tea is warranted

    im not gonna pretend im a fan but seeing shorts on yt i can say I do have alot of respect for him/LOG... Say what you will but i was a huge deathcore fan at some time and no not a very typical one but a proud deathcore fan nonethless...and yk that style is pretty rough on your vocals. Alot of bands came and went pretty quick. Different subgenre but LOG was there before i was a heavy music fan and still here....very cool to see him still sounding amazing and showing us how his dedication and seriousness for his vocals.

    So this is what a 2024 Korn does. The idea I never cared about being forced upon me. Great.
    Go make actual music. Korn never did. I doubt you will either. You should be fined for aural assault.

    So this guy is basically nobody? I'm sure Axl Rose had this same ritual. Oh yeah he smoked like a pack of Marlboros and chugged Jack Daniels and f*cking rocked the house.

    I am glad to see this dude grow so much as a person. I remember having a Lamb of God DVD back in like 2005 or something. He was such a dickhead in that DVD. I remember him and the guitarist got into a fight and he knock Randy out. Then I heard he kicked a guy off stage, and the guy hit his head and died. Anyway sounds like Randy has turned over a new leaf.

    Is Blythe purely a vocalist, (in which position he completely slays), or does bro perform on an instrument other than his pipes? I've always held this particular inquiry in my mind's recesses, borne of sheer curiosity.

Now don't like in flames much and absolutely love lamb of God. I hugely regret leaving before they went on stage. Such a fucking mistake. At least they got my money though
