Germany is the ONLY country I've seen so far where the judges don't talk AT ALL during the performance. They're also very respectful towards metal and damn that's rare. Thank u for your awesome mentality Germany!
AhI actually do not know a single person around me, that doens´t like some metal... we have some amazing "young" metal-bands here... but I have seen a lot of metal from the more eastern countries too... It´s nice to see more and more metal on these shows.
Heavy Metal is in Germany actually veeeeeery big. Wacken is the biggest metal festival they have. What I have noticed is that other countries are way more open to certain genres and songs...and when I see the US they are really only pop and country focused xD

This version was a bit slover than the orginal one. Drummer nailed it but also noticed some lack of twin pedal parts. In my opinion the original version is also way better due to bpm and twin pedal parts.
I dont remember many times when a metal singer wasn't ridiculed or laughed at in a reality show. Not only she wasn't ridiculed but she earned the respect out of everyone. That's history right here.
I feel like a lot of metal type singers have pretty amazing vocal ranges. That type of singing is so ridiculously hard and harsh on vocal cords that you REALLY have to get it right or you will have no voice at all lol

Absolutely so difficult to master - she's probably one of the best vocalists in the world technique wise. AND she's selling the $hit out of the performance!
I imagine the per show meeting went along the lines - “Well guys we need you to play Coldplay, Elton John, Michael Jackson and Lamb of God.” The band goes o.k. then hits the double take

Of course it sucks. What do you expect from a show that has a member of Maroon fucking 5 as their "rock" coach? It's like having George Strait as a hip hop coach.
It's even worse in Germany. We had times, where a lot of people were wearing shirts with „hatespeak“ against hip hop on it, while groups like „Anti Hip Hop Alliance“ were the biggest german speaking groups on social media. But most parts of the „more oldschool“ german Hip hop scene are just very open-minded and great.

The screams are inhale which is kinda fucking up the voice but she did well maintaining her voice despite losing the screams at the end of the song. Inhale scream is the most unhealthy technique for screams. Nothing like fry scream and false cord scream which, projected right, don't hurt your voice at all.
Finds zwar gut, dass auch mal Metal ne Chance hat, aber ihre Vocals sind leider echt grottig. Und dann gibt sie auch noch freiwillig zu, dass sie Inhale macht :D. Da gibt es wirklich weitaus bessere Frauen. Außerdem macht Inhale ihre Stimme auf kurz oder lang kaputt ^^

As blind auditions go, this is certainly one of the best i've seen, in any genre. Stefanie is shockingly good with both her growl and clean vocals. But let's admit it, you gotta love them LoG riffs and the live band really nailed it; extremely entertaining to watch!

Lamb of God is one of my top 3 favorites ever, so this was suggested. Unbelievable. One of the coolest crossover songs I’ve ever seen and her transitions were FLAWLESS. I hope she sees this...forever fan whatever you choose
He didn't even know it was a girl at the time he pushed the button..the clean vocals hadn't even come up yet by then....You can see his surprise when he turned around and saw her.....One thing I can surmise for sure, I had no idea who this guy was, but if someone says he's a very famous rapper, the guy is reeeally seriously into metal, I could tell by his reaction to the first two three notes into the guitar riff....Are you folks sure this guy is a rapper? 😲

I’ve never really liked metal (I’m more inclined to classical music) but this was seriously liquid gold! What a voice!!! And the growls sounded not only terrific but with such control, one of the best performances I’ve watched!

That was the moment she owned the whole place. She basically had a concert in there. I can tell, she wasn't there to win it but to tear the whole place down. The judges pressing the button is just a bonus. I got chills.

Its very hard to not only perfect the growl without damaging your vocal cords but also be able to switch gears so quickly. Whoever she picked as her coach did NOT do a great job picking her songs because from then on it was just... a poor showcase of her talents.

Also I think it's awesome how she knew she could sing really well but she went on there and did Lamb of God but included her cleans AND turned all 4 judges. She could have easily sang a more mainstream song to show off her singing voice but she's metal AF and she wants everybody to know it!

So refreshing to hear some real metal on the Voice. She was amazing and the band was amazing. This would never make it on any of the USA talent shows. I love that there is still diversity on the European shows. I'm not a metal only fan. I love most kinds of music. I just wish we could go back to the days of diversity in music. In the mid to late 70's we would go see Black Sabbeth one weekend and Muddy Waters or ZZ Top the next week end. Mix it up!
It's such a shame that the German version of "The Voice" is so much more diverse , and inclusive than the American version has EVER been!! They do the show "right" !!

I mean that this lady had guts to sing a Lamb Of God song in the voice and got every judge to turn around. If that was the case in the U.S. none of the judges would of turned around or even rock on like these judges.

Die sind einfach 100% im Takt und spielen das so sauber und angepasst an ihre Tonlage, plus mega badass, dass man einfach null meckern kann. Ich hab selbst schon in mehreren Bands gespielt und muss dir sagen : mach das erstmal auf dem Niveau nach und dann reden wir weiter ! ^^

Lamb Of God might be too heavy for a novice. Better would be bands like Blind Guardian (also german band). Or some women if she prefer their style like Unleach the Archer or Arch Enemy (which is just as heavy as Lamb of God).
@@Skurian_krotesk yes, for the low growling sound she uses that technique, she even explained it a bit, because one of the coaches asked whether she wasn‘t worried about straining her vocal cords that way and she said with that technique she can sing for hours without any issues. Quite impressive nonetheless.
Her band Mission in Black has recently released a new album. If someone likes this cover, their stuff is worth checking out. Fits her much better than the songs they made her sing in the show.

This song would not get a chair in US Voice. Would not even make the show for that matter. Love the international Voice shows so much more.

It's even worse in Germany. We had times, where a lot of people were wearing shirts with „hatespeak“ against hip hop on it, while groups like „Anti Hip Hop Alliance“ were the biggest german speaking groups on social media.
But most parts of the „more oldschool“ german Hip hop scene are just very open-minded and great.

The screams are inhale which is kinda fucking up the voice but she did well maintaining her voice despite losing the screams at the end of the song. Inhale scream is the most unhealthy technique for screams. Nothing like fry scream and false cord scream which, projected right, don't hurt your voice at all.

But I mean metal music in germany is massive, wacken is sold out within ten minutes. There are millions that love this music. It's polarizing, you love it or you say I don't understand it but you come from this hard metal voice to these hights and you are so secure at these high tones and you are damn good and you deserve to be here today at the voice of germany. I'm very happy about it.

As blind auditions go, this is certainly one of the best i've seen, in any genre. Stefanie is shockingly good with both her growl and clean vocals. But let's admit it, you gotta love them LoG riffs and the live band really nailed it; extremely entertaining to watch!

Lamb of God is one of my top 3 favorites ever, so this was suggested. Unbelievable. One of the coolest crossover songs I’ve ever seen and her transitions were FLAWLESS. I hope she sees this...forever fan whatever you choose

That was the moment she owned the whole place. She basically had a concert in there. I can tell, she wasn't there to win it but to tear the whole place down. The judges pressing the button is just a bonus. I got chills.

Its very hard to not only perfect the growl without damaging your vocal cords but also be able to switch gears so quickly. Whoever she picked as her coach did NOT do a great job picking her songs because from then on it was just... a poor showcase of her talents.

So refreshing to hear some real metal on the Voice. She was amazing and the band was amazing. This would never make it on any of the USA talent shows. I love that there is still diversity on the European shows. I'm not a metal only fan. I love most kinds of music. I just wish we could go back to the days of diversity in music. In the mid to late 70's we would go see Black Sabbeth one weekend and Muddy Waters or ZZ Top the next week end. Mix it up!

@@schlummaalstrumma238 wenn sie jetzt noch spielen könnten wie die Jungs von Lamb of God. Ehrlich gesagt ist das was die Studio Band da spielt eine abgespeckt Beleidigung der Mannen um Chris Adler und co.
@@TheReenStone naja letzten endes ist es halt auch nur eine Studio Band die eben nur für's Fernsehen spielen, woher sollen die auch solche krassen Songs azs einem ganz anderen Genre können :D. Finds trotzdem nice
@@ciechaglotzkowski die Band ist so unglaublich gut! Ich weiß ja nicht ob du selber Musiker bist, aber bis man auf solch einem Niveau alle Genre spielen kann - puuhh. So eine Band kann ihr Instrumente mehr als perfekt spielen, natürlich sind sie vielleicht nicht ganz so kreativ und haben nicht Welthits geschrieben. Aber sie stehen den meisten Rockbands, wenn es um spielerisches Talent geht in nichts nach.
@@TheReenStone ich kenne Lamb Of God und deine Aussage kann ich null nachvollziehen. Die Band von The Voice ist keine Metalband, sondern eine Allroundband.
Die sind einfach 100% im Takt und spielen das so sauber und angepasst an ihre Tonlage, plus mega badass, dass man einfach null meckern kann.
Ich hab selbst schon in mehreren Bands gespielt und muss dir sagen : mach das erstmal auf dem Niveau nach und dann reden wir weiter ! ^^

Ghost Walking by Lamb of God. That band is awesome.
Lamb Of God might be too heavy for a novice. Better would be bands like Blind Guardian (also german band). Or some women if she prefer their style like Unleach the Archer or Arch Enemy (which is just as heavy as Lamb of God).

I am pretty sure she is using an inhale vocal technique which is a very interesting coice.

@@Skurian_krotesk yes, for the low growling sound she uses that technique, she even explained it a bit, because one of the coaches asked whether she wasn‘t worried about straining her vocal cords that way and she said with that technique she can sing for hours without any issues. Quite impressive nonetheless.
Her band Mission in Black has recently released a new album. If someone likes this cover, their stuff is worth checking out. Fits her much better than the songs they made her sing in the show.
