Big thanks to Zach for letting me drive his 3.7. In this review we cover the differences between my experience with a 3.7, a 5.0, then going back to a 3.7. We cover fuel mileage, performance, handling, if it does burnouts, and finding out if Zach enjoys driving my 5.0

Recently got a 2014 V6 with auto transmission-- been getting around 31 mpg on highway driving; terrific!
the 3.7 is a great platform to start modding especially for the money, theres no other car you can get that cost the same ,has the same power and has the same aftermarket support as a 3.7 mustang. Not to mention how much of a sleeper it is! Great video brotha!

It pisses me off when I here people saying the v6 mustang is a crap engine. More choice is better and the coyote is overkill for many. I've always loved the sound of a v8 but I definitely like the v6 better than a four .The eco boost has more power and is more tunable but it's still a four. I'm pretty old so don't think 24 miles per gallon is bad either , just check out the mileage of an older muscle car.

My 3.7 auto with Bama 's 91 octane vr2 tune with torque converter lockup disabled until 6 gear got 19.4 mpg downhill. (3:73s)

This muffler delete sounds better than the other muffler deletes I've heard.. maybe it's just because it's cabin sounds

he was supposed to do headers and midpipe but hes on the fence with getting a CTSV,,, cant blame him its a sick car lol. Thanks buzzable im trying to find ways to make the 5.0 interesting in videos hopefully i can get creative here soon... well see. 3SevenStangVids hey 3seven! I love your vids. You have been part of my inspiration to do power mods on my 3.7 but after this video and hearing the MPG Im a bit concerned. I have full bolt on mods and a MPT 91 octane perf tune. And I'm getting 19.4 and I daily drive mine. Would you consider that normal?? Any others getting the same?
Hey there I have a question regarding the BBK long tube headers. You had mentioned moving the O2 sensor bong the forward one 4 in down. Do you mean like as in rotation? Could you post a picture maybe on your website? Thanks much
after driving an auto 3.7 with 3.73s would you say it might actually be better with 3.90s or 4.10s? since you said the mt82 with 3.73s is quicker than the 6r80 with 3.73s
He said it was quicker off the line, that is due to it having a stock stall converter and as he stated he had drag tire set up on his car and the outo car has 19" wheels with street tires so traction was an issue off the line as well.
That mpg is really holding me back from getting 3.73s. Only 24?
Yeahhh I got tired of the auto on my s550 and taking it to shop for an MT82 swap next week... gonna keep the groups posted about the process for any other V6 guys looking to swap

Are muffler deletes dangerous or harmful on a 3.7? Ive heard some say it can mess stuff up.

Is it just me or are there more V6 2013-2014 Mustangs than the 5.0s? Around where I live I'm seeing a lot of modded V6s. Maybe your message is getting out there!

My 2014 3.7 auto is stock just magnaflow cat back exhaust and k&n drop in filter I get 13mpg city 😂😭🤦♂️ imagine once I engine mod it damn. Shoulda just got a 5.0

Do you think 3.73 gears is too much for a auto transmission? Or would 3.55 be a choice?

@@timetofl0at340 they are quicker but have less top speed and bad fuel economy. 3.73 is the best of both worlds.

I have a stock 3.7 maual shift base mustang with roush exhaust....would the 93 octane mpt tune wake up the motor in it??
Jose Lopez their modifications are illegal in CA. It’s not that they don’t want to do business with you, it’s that they can’t sell the tune to a car registered in California.
I just tried getting mpt tune said no because in California..

I don't think you will go back to a 3.7. The 5.0 is simply a better car. The weight difference isn't enough to offset the 100hp disadvantage. That said I'd take a SC S550 v6 over an s197 5.0. Only if it sounds as good as Brents v6.
