IMO the Tarkin Doctrine was the worst thing to happen to the Empire. Tarkin himself was a genius, but the Tarkin doctrine is what inspired millions of beings to fight back. Thrawn's defender project would have done much better than the Death Star, another product of the Tarkin Doctrine

My wife and I have watched you channel for a while now and we have always liked your insights, not just in Star Wars but also in the world in general. After seeing this video, we are more impressed than ever. You are absolutely correct. We must support Ukraine in every way we can and we can not allow Putin do divide us or to allow the media to forget what is happening. I am a plastic model builder and several model companies are in Ukraine, some in Kyiv. Going to their sites and seeing what they are describing is sobering. To know that some of these people, people that I have conversed with, are suffering and dying at this very moment is frightening. Ukraine needs to survive this and we need to support them in every way we can.

I have been trying to help a Ukrainian family from Mykolaev as much as I can. They are finally back in their city and are picking up the peices. Even through all they have been through they still managed to send us a gift for Christmas. So you see they really do appreciate the help they are getting. Keep the videos coming and Merry Christmas.

It would have made much more sense, if this "Last/first order" used a re-salvaged Star forge that was presumably destroyed centuries ago to create a fleet of ships that large in such a short amount of time. It's not like they haven't used parts from legends or from the Old republic lore into this one. Would have made RoS a bit more compelling and interesting....but instead we got this.
The real life political stuff that you bring into the star wars universe is awesome in my opinion. I have learned a few things over the years about Taiwan and Tibet and how that transfers to the SW universe.. keep it coming . Its great to see an educated TH-camr
Whether I agree with their position or not, I generally don't like it when TH-cam channels get "political" (I don't really think that's the best word to describe it, but you know what I mean), but I make an exception when it comes to something as significant as the invasion of Ukraine. Unlike almost every conflict in the past 50-60 years, this very much has the potential to blow up into the biggest war since WW2, and everyone around the world should be condemning the invasion. I'm also glad you explicitly called out that we shouldn't hate the Russians for it: this truly is Putin's war, and with all of the protests across Russia, despite the threat of arrest, we know that many Russians oppose this war as much as most of the rest of the world (I don't think there's any way of truly telling if the *majority* in Russia support or oppose the war, but we know that plenty of Russians are against it).

Unlike almost every conflict in the past 50-60 years, this very much has the potential to blow up into the biggest war since WW2, and everyone around the world should be condemning the invasion. I'm also glad you explicitly called out that we shouldn't hate the Russians for it: this truly is Putin's war, and with all of the protests across Russia, despite the threat of arrest, we know that many Russians oppose this war as much as most of the rest of the world (I don't think there's any way of truly telling if the *majority* in Russia support or oppose the war, but we know that plenty of Russians are against it).
