I always loved the J-Type Nubian yacht. It looks cool, incredibly elegant and its in universe tech specifications are also really good. I had my character use a highly modified J-Type Nubian Naboo Royal Starship. With a class 0.5 hyperdrive, shields derived from Mon Calamari cruisers, and several different laser weapons systems. She's an absolute beast.

How to identify Star Wars Diplomatic vessels. Armed to the teeth? Heavy shielding? Propelled by multiple large engines? Freighter sized or smaller? Advanced Hyperdrive? Made out of special material? Painted in political colors like white, blue and/or red? If a vessel checks out more then 4 of these requirements it is political vessel.

That wasn’t a diplomatic vessel, it was an aftermarket scrap job landing craft. I agree the orientation isn’t the best but they probably had a path cleared for it prior to descent

They're highly adaptable, and have served as anything from troop carriers to armor transports to Tie Fighter haulers. At any rate, not even approaching a star destroyer in tonnage or weaponry.

Super weapons can be great for a one sided negotiation. While it might not be ethical to the vast majority as long as you have the resources to quell the vast majority then you are in the right. Because you make it right.
My favorite 'diplomacy' vessel is the Venator-class. After all, 'war' is 'diplomacy' by other language. Insofar as pure diplomatic work goes, I favor the Nubian J-types for their aesthetics and the Republic diplomatic vessel for pure functionality.
Fun fact. I actually turned a J Type Nubian from Naboo into a modified bounty hunter ship in a story I wrote about a Corellian bounty hunter after the fall of the First Order.
You missed a very important vessel - the GX-1 Lantillian Shuttle (Diplomatic Version) This class even has 2 named diplomatic vessels - the Phoenix and Valorous (both featured in the Clone Wars series) It is a relatively small ship but has a small hyperdrive capable escape pod, actual living space inside (beds, meeting room and kitchen included) and long range. It is the optimal vessel for diplomats who plan to go on a longer tour - and still relatively cheap.
The J-Type Barge is one of my favourite ships in Star Wars (along with the X70-B, see a type? ^^). It is easily the most beautiful as well. I would definitely have one, if I lived in the Universe!
Count Dooku’s ship, the solar sailer could kinda sorta be called a diplomatic vessel. As head of state, Dooku was the face of the CIS and a highly effective diplomat. His personal ship with its extravagant sail was not fighter, but a show of his refinement. Perhaps another video on small personal ships would be interesting.
you seem to have forgotten the whole purpose of the Death Star was diplomacy, so efficient at its task it dissolved the need of a senate. Even with its defects it probably should have a mention on this list
I believe the best Diplomatic designs would be a rounded shape with a Blue color (or anything other than red), because those are scientifically seen as the least imposing Colors/Shapes

Nitpick on the Alderaanian fleet: it was mostly if not completely composed of ships made on Alderaan by the Alderaan Royal Engineers firm. As for the Naboo people, they came originally from Grizmallt, not Alderaan.
Not sure if someone mentioned this but Bail Organa's ship at the end of Episode III was not a CR-90. That ship is a CR-70 which looks similar, but not identical
Since Padme's ship is SO very nice looking BUT also super practical and functional her ship coulda ALSO functioned as a secret strike craft. Since it was basically its verses SR-71 an functioned like it in verse.. an internal missile launcher or secret hidden defensive armament woulda been the ULTIMATE nasty surprise to would be attackers. Especially you put something Especially nasty for self defense like one the SW versions of a gattling cannon.
The Falcon does serve as a diplomatic vessel for Leia in particular after the GCW, so perhaps that was missing here (though, perhaps I’m thinking of Legends)

You might want to do a video on the Rise of the Resistance I-TS (Intersystem Transport Ship), used for the Rise of the Resistance Ride in Disneyworld and Disneyland. Really cool ship. It looks like a miniature C-90 Corvette with U-Wing engines instead :-)
Regarding the Lambda Shuttle & VIP's..... That's about the same passenger space as on a small real world passenger jet, or it's Luxury counterpart from Lear.
Kuat, Corellia, Mon Cala, and Fondor are among a few of the biggest shipyards in the galaxy, although there are many other producers- for example, Starfighter maker Incom was the designer of the X-Wing, and I believe also it's predecessor, the ARC-170. The extended universe has a fairly large amount of lore about how starships are made and the military-industrial complex of the star wars galaxy.

You don't really need or necessarily want guns on a diplomatic ship, other countermeasures are going to be much more valuable because you never want to take the risks involved in naval combat if there's a valuable person on board, that's what you should have an escort for, the CR-90 is good at being a diplomatic vessel but the guns are going to be useless for the most part, guns are also not something I'd take on a mission of peace, having guns on your ship does send a pretty clear message, whether it's intentional or not. That's why the Republic Cruiser and the Naboo ships are my favourites, the Republic cruiser in the beautiful red paintjob is elegant enough, but the Naboo ships are the epitome of grace and beauty, a good way to show status without having to pack any artillery. Of course there are reasons to show up armed, if you're trying to pressure someone into a peace agreement for instance, but in that case you'd probably want to turn up with an actual warship, and a decent sized escort as a show of strength.
Give me a "Modified" (i.e. Armed) J-Type and you'll have a Great Smuggling Vessel or Bounty Hunter Ship. Recessed and Retractable Weapons, plus Brigs and Force Cells, and it's a Go.
I always thought of the Death Star as the ultimate diplomatic vessel. It was designed to bring peace to the galaxy afterall.

The imperial shuttle for landing troops is the sentinel class, not the lambda.

How did a star destroyer catchup to the cr-90? Its like a battleship running down a speed boat.
You don't really need or necessarily want guns on a diplomatic ship, other countermeasures are going to be much more valuable because you never want to take the risks involved in naval combat if there's a valuable person on board, that's what you should have an escort for, the CR-90 is good at being a diplomatic vessel but the guns are going to be useless for the most part, guns are also not something I'd take on a mission of peace, having guns on your ship does send a pretty clear message, whether it's intentional or not. That's why the Republic Cruiser and the Naboo ships are my favourites, the Republic cruiser in the beautiful red paintjob is elegant enough, but the Naboo ships are the epitome of grace and beauty, a good way to show status without having to pack any artillery. Of course there are reasons to show up armed, if you're trying to pressure someone into a peace agreement for instance, but in that case you'd probably want to turn up with an actual warship, and a decent sized escort as a show of strength.
