There is a little modification involved, a welding shop made a pipe and welded it onto the exhaust, also you need to buy the diffuser but that is plug and play. If you have the M sport package
Hello, for some reason I have the m235i stock diffuser and when I put it up to my 228i with the M sport package it looks a little short, did it look like that to you or is it just me and will it fit plug and play ?
Can i fit that exhaust on a 220i coupe ( M packpage)or there is any problem? In the bmw workshop tell me that is not possible.... Yours sounds awesome! Thanks!!
Hello! I have a 2014 BMW 228i coupe. It is not the sport version or the M235i. Just the regular ol 228i and I love it. I would love to install the M235i performance exhaust, however, I am not sure whta to do next as far as fitting it. Do I need a new bumper? Additional piping, etc. What were the steps you took to ensure you were able to install the new exhaust properly? Thanks!

hey, im kinda new to cars, how did you get the dual exhaust (split)? This car only has one opening for the dual exhuast on one side if you know what I mean... did you cut out a hole or something
No man! The grey part on the bumper (diffusor) is a loose part. That means you can buy the diffusor of a M235i and swap it out! Don’t cost a lot of money
Kalslasie I love it, I like my FR-S aswell, but I have to commute over 40 minutes everyday, and it’s not the most comfortable ride. Anyways, absolutely love this car!

Did you remap the car or simply take off the 228 muffler and replace it with the 235 m performance? Like do you have burble/pop map?
At the moment of the video the only change on the car was the muffler!

You cannot do it at the bmw dealer because it is not a straight fit, go to a welding shop and it it possible

I don’t expect any increase, even with this one. I dyno’d mine after changing my end exhaust. No increase at all. Just standard horsepower numbers

No man it is great! Just gave it a tune to 313 HP and man o man it is great fun and comfort

Was it a hard job to fit..? The exhaust pipe is the same diameter on the 228 and 235..?
Different diameters, get a welder to do it

Yes you can! Only you will need to place a different exhaust than!

Awesome, I did the same thing with my previous 218i coupe. Bought M235i exhaust second hand + diffusor + installation by a company. Only €500 in total
