As a doctor, I have seen live how this boy's voice produces well-being for people. In a chemotherapy center I have three patients who listen to Dimash on his rounds and a horrible process has been made much more pleasant for them. I listen to it myself and it only gives me magical sensations.

Interesting. Everyone in the operating room listened to Dimash when I had a heart catheterization last November. The cardiologist asked what I wanted to hear since I was awake for the procedure. Most heard him for the first time, and Dimash gained a few more fans that day.

As a cancer survivor, I wish that I had known about Dimash while going through my treatments. He touches my soul as very few others have. Dimash's voice and recordings have been used in clinics for a number of years now to treat anxiety and depression. Even people outside of a professional capacity have said that listening to any of his songs gets them through the day and lifts their mood. He is truly a gift for his talent alone but his beautiful loving spirit and his deep respect for his fellow humans make him so much more than that.

You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion “ 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017. Each performance will leave you stunned.

I recommend "Love is like a dream" if you want to hear an angel to sing ! Even if today everyone hates Putin, we should not confuse Russian culture with its temporary leaders (the country made the empire, and the communists inherited it and kept it until Yeltsin, and now Putin seems to want to rebuild it) . To help, I would add that the composer is Igor Krutoy (a Mosaic Jew born in Ukraine during the USSR, Dimash is a Kazakh Muslim - Kazakhstan became independent from the USSR, present-day Russia since 1991 and wants to move from the Cyrillic alphabet to the Latin, and at his request in this song the sequence "Ave Maria, Ave Amor" was introduced, a Christian sequence of Catholic rite attributed to Caccini who is in fact Vavilov a Russian)! This is how quality music, true art, transcends everything that actually separates and enmity the world: politics, religion, racism, etc. I am a Romanian of the Orthodox Christian religion (of the Byzantine rite like the Greeks, but not of the old rite like the Russians and Serbs) who does not know Russian, but I can speak my mother tongue, English, French, Italian and Latin. After all, true art educates us in the spirit of tolerance so that we can live together!

It's hard to explain, but seeing and hearing a musical prodigy, seeing him work so hard and intensely and grow as an independent artist, conquering the world, all alone, without the help of the big producers in the music industry and the big international media, to the point of changing the traditional limits of music and creating new possibilities to create new arts that touch the souls of millions of people is extraordinary! He gives us hope for our world. And everything becomes more special, because he is a humble, simple artist, respectful of everyone and with a heart full of love. The feeling it awakens in the audience is what makes Dimash special! When Dimash sings, he becomes the music itself!

Dimash has EVERY reason to exist! He is adored by fans in over 140 countries who have created fan clubs in his honor, sells out every arena in which he has appeared from New York to Dubai and beyond, has sung in front of 150,000 captivated fans outdoors in his own country and has been called the best singer on the planet by vocal coaches the world over.
It has been reported that Dimash was first captivated by this song when Gregory Lemarchal performed it as a result of winning a French reality talent show even though he had the disadvantage of having Cystic Fibrosis and only 25 percent of his lung capacity. Gregory died at the age of 23 awaiting a lung transplant. His version of this song appears in at least two places on youtube. Following that, a young friend of Dimash, Denis Ten, a world champion figure skater from Kazakhstan was killed by thugs attempting to steal items off his car. Dimash sang this song in honor of Denis on another occasion. The song is very meaningful to him.

This is the best performance you’ve ever seen in your entire life ?!?! … well, you haven’t seen (heard) nothing yet - trust me. You’ll be convinced of that when (and if) you’ll decide to watch some more of King Dimash (which you really should). Since this was your first encounter with Dimash, here is a little background: Dimash is from Kazakhstan, he is the best vocalist on the planet (and beyond), he sings in 12 languages, plays 8 instruments, trains at lest 3 hours daily since he was 5, he is the most humble and modest guy I’ve ever seen, his vocal range covers 7 octaves, he performs practically ANYTHING and EVERYTHING - opera, pop, rock, traditional … even rap, many of his songs he writes himself. Back in 2017, he hit a D8 … yes, you’ve heard right - that is the note D from the 8th octave, which is off the piano keyboard and the highest note ever sung by a human, therefore many of his DEARS (this is how he calls his fans) suspect he is an alien. That was in the song “Unforgettable Day” and when you’ll get to it, it is important you watch the Gakku concert version. There is no specific order I suggest watching his performances, because you will be hugely surprised by each and every single one of them. If you’re not “Dimashified” yet, make peace with the thought that you will be - it is just a matter of time … it is fine, it happened to all of us. For many of his performances you’ll need to have some tissues at hand, especially if you watch the ones with subtitles and the back story of the song (such as “Autumn Strong”, “Daybreak” and others as well). Welcome among us, DEAR !!!
… Oh … and just in case it would be interesting for you to know - Dimash has his birthday on May 24th, that is a few days away.
    Salutations from Romania …

Dear(fan of Dimash) Amanda, I was so shocked by you knowing French and how you tagged on to the interpretation of Dimashs song. It’s his song since as far bac as 15 yrs old that I can find him singing it. The song came from the rock opera Starmania. Dimash is one of the most stable humble person to have latched onto this song. All persons attached to this song eve a young French pop singer have passed some tragically. This is dimashs signature song sung at every concert. His French was rough at first but it didn’t stop him. He got better. He was called to come sing it at the CannesFilm Festival in Nice (I think) France. I don’t know this but I felt sometime in Dimashs youth something happened that he had to go thru some struggle and he attached himself to the song. About 2 years ago in October I went to the hospital in pain I had to have a colostomy and my appendix burst with diverticulitis and they found tumors on both kidneys. In 6 months I had 5 surgeries. I found Dimash during this time. I also have bipolar disorder. Up to this time for 18 years I only had Med checks. But on the 3rd and 4th surgeries they took away my meds and i decompensated. I lost my confidence. I found this song and Dimashs music. Though it took months to bounce back I for hours on end listened to Dimash. He brought me back. It may not have been an easy time for Dimash singing soprano and metso soprano with his male peers. The music world is different now. You really shocked me. I don’t know how you found this particular sos. It is my favorite with the animation in it. He sings it different every time. Please be welcome to Dimashs fans the Dears.

I'm glad you liked this song. I would highly recommend his song, "Stranger." It's from New Wave, 2021. Stranger doesn't seem as though it would be as much about sadness and depression, but it's an amazing performance nonetheless. It also showcases his vocal range and power quite well the same way this song does. I appreciate you raising awareness about mental health as well, because I have also struggled with it for quite a few years. In fact, for most of my life, I have been depressed and have had no self-confidence. I thought of taking my own life when I was 16. I was in high school getting bullied by my classmates on a daily basis. I felt like I had no reason to be there. I have gotten myself through and I'm doing better now on the other side of it, but I know what it's like to want to bring an end to it all. I'm glad I decided to survive because otherwise, I never would have been to see what life was like on the other side of that depression. I'm better now, and I'm continuing to move forward in the right direction. Singers like Dimash and so many others are perfect reasons as to why I'm doing better nowadays. I'm glad I have lived long enough to see their performances if only on TH-cam. I will survive, and I will strive to prove that life is worth living and isn't worth giving up. I'm also glad to see that you're still here. You won the fight against your depression and didn't let it win against you. Life is beautiful if you give yourself a chance to see it that way.

    Welcome to Dimash´s world.
His name sounds: Dimash accented “mash” and accented /´gen. He is from Kazakhstan.
He uses techniques from opera, modern lyric, ethnic, glam, hard rock and pop environments.
Registers don´t apply to him. Not only male voice, no female voice, no alien voice: Dimash voice. His songs helped me to go through the quarantine (quite long and hard in my country) withsome mental stability.
He connects to the lyrics and adds textures to his voice accordingly. So to get the full meaning look for a subtitled version of each; for instance you can react to:

“SOS d'un terrien en détresse” tells of an earthly being that is in distress and asking for help because he never felt well in his own skin, he better wants to be a bird to see the world in case it could be more beautiful when seen from above. Luc Plamadon wrote the lyrics of SOS about a very distraught young man who just lost his lover to overdose suicide causing him extreme questioning of his own existence. Standing over her lifeless body, he is able to let her go “in peace“ with the words ‘sleep, my child, sleep’. It is a part of an french Rock-Pop opera released in 1979: Starmania. One of the 5 most difficult songs in French language. It was recorded by Daniel Balavoine in 1979 or so and Grégory Lemarchal won of the French reality singing competition Star Academy 2004 with this song.

I would like to add a little for mental health. Many years ago I was suicidal and it was a very difficult time for me. At that time getting mental health help was rare so I was on my own, but I figured since I didn't have anything to lose, I would just try and continue on. As time passed I got better and then my life went to wonderful and has been for over 40 years now. Please don't give up and get the help you need. Our lives can and do get better even when it doesn't feel like it will ever get better, it does.

Je comprends très bien la difficulté d’échanger entre les deux langes! I work in both French and English and when French clients decide to switch to English due to my accent, I usually tell them it is more difficult to switch back and forth if their documentation is in French! Dimash is truly superb at conveying deep emotions. This song is from a 1970s French/Canadian rock opera and has a somewhat tragic history of prior singers before Dimash tackled and reinvigorated interest in SOS. I’ve had discours with individuals who maintain that Dimash would never sing a song about suicide, but that this song merely reflects thoughts surrounding death in the circumstances within the context of the rock opera. However, I deal with many clients suffering from various forms of mental health issues and I understand the nuances associated with fixating or ruminating about death and ideation or planning. Whether the song is reflective of someone intent on suicide or not is irrelevant, it is a lyrically excellent reflection of a depressive state of being. Dimash is an extraordinarily emotive artist (with a phenomenal voice!) who is able to convey complex emotions in many different languages. You would probably need to stand in a pretty long line if you wanted to contend for the role of his future bride as many fans (his Dears) already covet that role for themselves or their daughters! Just kidding! Lovely and relevant reaction for your channel.

This song was my very first introduction to Dimash some months ago. I began to cry profusely without understanding one word. I had to come face to face with the unbearable loss of two children that I carry with me, (my first at 24 and last born at 31.) I know that I am literally a ghost living in this reality, that much of me is gone, but I have two other children I must stay for. Dad didn't walk away then and I can't walk away now. As a living being, I have always understood our responsibility to this life that seems intent on self-destruction and perversion of existence itself. This dark shadow must be defeated by all who cherish what life represents. Light and Life.

Your post is heart breaking - I just can't begin to imagine the suffering you have endured - thank Heaven you put your focus in your family - so unselfish..... I had the same reaction stumbling on to a diff version of Dimash SOS (Slavic Bizarre 2018) & just broke down crying too.... I survived stage 4 metastatic cancer, wife left me, lost everything, now crippled - so much of our life is filled w/ suffering & pain and often it's difficult to understand why but Life is such a precious gift & that's why loss hurts so deeply.......
It's been years since I survived that ordeal & strangely it took that for me to appreciate the simple life I have left...... I am in No way comparing my ordeal to losing a child - my heart breaks for you & I am inspired by your words & your powerful insight......
The Wisdom you possess can only be gained from terrible loss..... one of Life's many conundrums.......
I don't know much but I do know that Dimash is a gift from Heaven & there is healing power in his Magical talent & the example he sets w/ his humble, decent soul

Thank you for reacting to Dimash! I call Dimash a true Renaissance prince of our time;) Aren’t we lucky?!
Your reaction was genuine, warm, sincere, and respectful;)
You will discover that each of Dimash’s song choices have a backstory that, along with subtitles, enrich the viewers’ experience to a level seldom experienced in life. The backstory of SOS is written beautifully by other Dears, I will not address it.
In my opinion, Ave Maria, written by Igor Krutoy for Dimash, is the MOST beautiful song in the world. It is a vocalization of three notes followed by a fourth higher note ( I may be wrong about this). An angelic choir of one, Dimash evokes a spiritual journey to the heavens. I cry silently for those loved and lost in our lives every time I listen.
I love Dimash’s music videos: Across Endless Dimensions, Stranger, Fly Away, Be With Me, Stranger, Love of Tired Swans, Know, If I Never Breathe Again, …..
I love Just Let It Be, I Miss You, Hello, Ikanaide, Olimpico, and so many more!

👍Miss Amanda, your French is adorable, you have a lot of vocabulary and a lot of interesting things to say. This song "SOS" is a cover, an old song, composed by Michel Berger and written by Luc Plamondon in 1978 for the rock opera Starmania. The song is tragic, since the character saw his fiancée die and his dreams vanish. I didn't really like this musical opera rock, but certain songs, including "Sos" marked my era. Dimash has made an arrangement of it that showcases his vocal abilities and, although he is not French, has completely integrated the meaning of this song, despair. Your advice to your listeners is very accurate. Dimash is for me, THE most magnificent singer because his voice, his music speaks to my soul.
There is another song that speaks with a lot of humanity about the question of the suffering of living, but it is not a Dimash song. However, because of the theme of your channel, I think it is useful to tell you about it. This is one of the last creations of a Belgian artist, STROMAE, and the title is "l'enfer". I enclose the link where he presents his song during a television news. I just wanted you to know this. th-cam.com/video/YAG6nj7Sff8/w-d-xo.html

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Ten(10) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. SOS is Dimash masterpiece!! SOS is an existentialist song about death, ups and downs in life and death, when you feel you don’t belong here. Dimash is the Most Skilled Vocalist ever!!! Technically and artistically that’s a fact. His versatility, wide range, stage presence, performance, background, technique, creativity, powerful and beautiful voice makes him all in one 🔝🔝🎤❤️🌹 Dimash is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He is about to finish his doctorate in Musicology. He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. He is kind, humble, generous and modest, very elegant and very tall, Dimash is 6ft 3, 1/4.
His Dears, as Dimash calls his fans because we are so dear to him and very loyal, number over 70 fan clubs in 120 countries globally and number in the millions, probably you will soon be one of us Dears. Please react to Stranger th-cam.com/video/lFsB5HVnmSA/w-d-xo.html.

Many of the most talented are the most tormented. You might find some value of expression of internal pain in Lara Fabian's Je Suis Malade (May 25, 2016). Sending blessings.

So happy to see you meeting Dimash. Every single aspect of him is as beautiful as his voice. He is a truly GOOD person. You may come to see your life in "before Dimash" and "with Dimash." He is such a beautiful person. Oh--he's 6'3" tall and 28 years old. In his nation, Kazakhstan, he and his family are like the royalty of the music world. Mom is opera diva and dad composes and directs. At age 2, Dimash used to run up on the stage when his mother was about to take her bows, and he would take his bows with her. He was born with perfect pitch and a passion for music. He started in Music Academy at age 5, and has trained for at least 3 hours every day since then. He is kind and caring, and he has total integrity. He is a wonderfully honorable man, a devoted son and big brother, and ==oh, I just can't say enough about him. I'm so glad you have encountered him. You are a very pretty, sweet-natured young woman and you will always do well, just being yourself. God bless.

I was surprised and glad to see a Dimash reaction on a mental health site. When I heard Dimash sing for the first time, I had a very curious experience. "Opera 2" gave me a severe shock and then "SOS" made everything unreal. I didn´t understand

Thank you for a very beautiful and emotional reaction and comments! ❤️ You got Dimash immediately right - he is so beautiful, powerful, he opens hearts and souls for love and joy and peace and has got this healing power when you let his voice into your heart - also for me the most beautiful gift since I discovered him (with this song as well, but The Singer's version 😉). If you go on with this incomparable artist and human you will find so much joy, so many treasures.... For yourself. I would recommend Ave Maria, Samaltau, The meaning of eternity, Ikanaide,.... And many more 😉, have to go now, hope to see you soon back with Dimash! ❤️

My day is not the same if I do not listen to him. I get sadder to bed, I feel that something is missing. I discovered him by accident singing SOS at Slavic Bazar (the version of SOS that I like the most) when I was mourning the lost of my both parents in the middle of the added stress produced by the pandemic. I can only say that he was my saviour in those days.

"...это лучшее выступление которое я смотрела (слушала) за ВСЮ мою жизнь" - и это говорит молодая, красивая девушка у которой жизнь ТОЛЬКО ТОЛЬКО начинается и все еще впереди!!! Всегда удивлялся подобной фразе у блогеров, такое чувство что завтра этого блогера уже физически не станет, он подводит итоги своей ДОЛГОЙ жизни и прощается с этим миром...
