I am sorry, it's not directed against you or anybody in particular, just a general observation. I have to admit that these comparisons of more or less spectacular physically hurt me. Why compare at all? It kind of puts down this brilliant performance, and even if it's not the intention, for me it's painful to see. Countless Dimash's performance are spectacular in different ways. Personally I adore SOS and this performance of it and I can't say it's less spectacular than anything else he does, It's just that the other things are also spectacular. For me Qaragym ai or Samaltau, for instance, are no less spectacular than Stranger or Ave Maria. It is perfectly possible to praise and recommend other performances, and Dimash in general, without such statements, because it's a very personal thing anyway. Sorry, I don't usually comment about this, but I came to a point that I had to express how I feel because it affects me very much when my favorite performances, that are so dear to my heart, which I listen to daily multiple times, are treated in a way that seems even a bit dismissive. No, not all opera singers can do what Dimash can. Dimash was classically trained, yes, then he also trained in contemporary and jazz music, earning a bachelor's degree in it. Then he went on to take a master's degree in composition and is now finishing up his PhD in musicology. What he did in this performance is not just display an amazing vocal range that few singers can boast, but also a mastery of various singing styles, inserting just the right style in the right syllable or phrase depending on what emotion he wanted to convey. I been following you since you started doing BABYMETAL (still my favorite) but I found Dimash Kudibergen (name of the man, not the band) several years ago. He began his classical/operatic training at age 5 and continued fulltime for 20 years. He is also trained in contemporary and pop vocals and he incorporates them all into almost every song he sings. He is from Kazakhstan/Central Asia/part of the Eurasian Stepp. He is Eurasian, 6'3" tall, quite good at martial arts/taekwondo. Loves to ride horses through the mountains of Kazakhstan. A swimmer, loves to kick around a soccer ball, also a music composer. He is currently living temporarily in Las Angeles studying at the LA branch of the New York School of Fine arts..this time majoring in film directing. Total tip of the iceberg. This was great, but there are dozens of even more spectacular Dimash songs and performances. He will never leave you disappointed, and will often leave you stunned, and speechless.
I am sorry, it's not directed against you or anybody in particular, just a general observation. I have to admit that these comparisons of more or less spectacular physically hurt me. Why compare at all? It kind of puts down this brilliant performance, and even if it's not the intention, for me it's painful to see. Countless Dimash's performance are spectacular in different ways. Personally I adore SOS and this performance of it and I can't say it's less spectacular than anything else he does, It's just that the other things are also spectacular. For me Qaragym ai or Samaltau, for instance, are no less spectacular than Stranger or Ave Maria. It is perfectly possible to praise and recommend other performances, and Dimash in general, without such statements, because it's a very personal thing anyway. Sorry, I don't usually comment about this, but I came to a point that I had to express how I feel because it affects me very much when my favorite performances, that are so dear to my heart, which I listen to daily multiple times, are treated in a way that seems even a bit dismissive. I know it shouldn't affect me this way, but the fact is it does and I can't help it.

No, not all opera singers can do what Dimash can. Dimash was classically trained, yes, then he also trained in contemporary and jazz music, earning a bachelor's degree in it. Then he went on to take a master's degree in composition and is now finishing up his PhD in musicology. What he did in this performance is not just display an amazing vocal range that few singers can boast, but also a mastery of various singing styles, inserting just the right style in the right syllable or phrase depending on what emotion he wanted to convey.

Dimash sings, composes, directs, models, dances, plays several instruments etc. he’s in the U.S. at the moment meeting with top song writers etc. Dimash hasn’t wanted to sign before because he doesn’t want to be controlled and told what to sing. So set up his own musical company with his father and long time friends and family. He is not interested in making lots of money for the sake of it. just has integrity and cares about the music. S O S is a cover from a 1970’s rock musical. He sings covers and songs written specially for his voice. Try Stranger, which is in English and was written for him by Igor Krutoy a Ukrainian mega rich composer and producer. He played the accompanying piano on the New Wave 2O21 rendition

Since there were 103 comments before mine and you are looking for new artists, how about a young female singer from his country? This young lady who is16 now, is a singer that Dimash has called a national treasure. This young singer's name is Daneliya (Duh nel ee Yuh Tuleshova (two Lesh ho vuh). This young lady went viral at the age of 10 with her version of 'Stone Cold' her blind audition for The Voice Kids Ukraine. She is still the youngest winner of that competition at 11 years old. She was the first non-Ukrainian to win. Daneliya has entered and either won or was definitely an audience favorite. She has won 3 audience favorite awards which in some ways is a truer indication her talents.
While she has no where near the range of Dimash, he can actually sing higher than Daneliya, what she does have just such a distinctive and pleasant and powerful voice, that somehow exudes all the emotions that are in the song. When she is done with a song most times no matter who has sung it before it will be Daneliya's version you remember the most. I am giving you the link to two of her performances. First is her latest appearance on AGT The All-Stars. Though she didn't move passed the first appearance, and don't get me started on how the show used her, her performance has been viewed over 4.2 million times in a little over four weeks. I'm sorry that it took you this long to discover the world's greatest male singer but am so happy to see that you are now among those in the know! One fantastic performance that might help you catch up is "Adagio" from his 2017 appearance on a Chinese reality show. A more recent signature performance is "Stranger" from 2021 and is the favorite of many of Dimash's fans. But Dimash sings everything from classic opera to today's r&b and rap, and he does it all brilliantly. More Dimash please!!!

I been following you since you started doing BABYMETAL (still my favorite) but I found Dimash Kudibergen (name of the man, not the band) several years ago. He is mind-blowing, and I am a musician and singer/songwriter. never heard anyone do what he does. Just wait, you'll see he hasn't even really shown much of his skills here. In my mind, and for many others this man is objectively the greatest singer in the world. I suggest "Sinful Passion" 2018.

One of the best vocalists of all time, Dimash has more masterpieces than just regular songs. This was a cover of a French song. But thanks to his alien range, the song sounds completely different when he sings it. The words "alien" are very common when describing Dimash. To some this song reminds them of the alien soprano who sings in the movie "The 5th Element" with Bruce Willis, and unsurprisingly, Dimash covers that song too, though it's not supposed to be possible for a human to sing it. Every Dimash song shows off a different talent, another genre of music, another type of emotion that he can elicit. To top it all off, he's one of the nicest and most humble superstars you could find!
