    Bought the same one last year, I was laughing when you tried to open the bottom. I did the EXACT SAME THING🤪
    When you redo the base, reattach the corners to push them sideways, foot pedals to the right side. 1- you can easy reach with your right foot, not go around to the back 2- push and pull is safer with the longer side of the base as opposed to the short front/back possible tip over
    Fence tape, same issue. No way around it without making a new measure tape to attach, etc, future project
    I love mine, a real beast to move without a mechanical lift of some sort, last bandsaw I will need to buy in my life, but it will be the kids problem to get it out of the workshop after I am gone 😅
    You will enjoy it, have fun

      Glad I'm not the only one who made the door mistake! So far I'm happy with it was well, absolutely tank of a band saw.

    I just bought this. They had a great sale on the Z model and I bit.
    1 the fence zeros to the cast iron bar, not the resaw Extention. I’m going to buy a tape to put on top. No big deal.
    2 the no plug really threw me. 4 other grizzly large machines and they all came with plugs albeit different for each one but hey, I always run power anyways so another $11 was a great excuse to make a trip to town and get snacks lol
    3 same mobile base… same dumb problem hahahaha. I added 2x4 blocking to raise it up a bit. Easy peasy.
    4 I subscribed and will watch your other stuff now. Where you at? Looks cold like here in central Wyoming. Hahahaha

      @@BuiltKnotBought yea I’m excited about resawing some shop veneers and improving my bookmatch skills. Yea I read your bio after I typed that. Lol. Just watched your walnut buffet vid. Time to get in the shop.

    you cant get carried away with WD-40 on cast iron. I usually let the cast iron table soak in the stuff over night. I dont know if it does any good letting it just soak in the stuff but it certainly puts my mind at east

    • @BuiltKnotBought
      @BuiltKnotBought  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I definitely go heavy on the WD40 when im cleaning things up. Ive also started using boesheild often for a lubricant and it works great!

    The rattle/chatter is most likely coming from the blade bearing guides. The manual says to set them at .004” clearance and I noticed in the video you have .016”, you might start there.

    • @BuiltKnotBought
      @BuiltKnotBought  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't believe it's the bearings I've played around with the clearance on them quite a bit with no success. I'm actually leaning towards the blade itself being slightly out of wack

    Looks like slots in the rail. Move the rail to the right.

    Where do you buy the T9? Nice video, I just put mine together after a couple of years sitting in the corner of my garage for a year still in the plastic.

    Have you figured out the noise you were hearing and did you get a fix for the measuring tape being off?

    • @BuiltKnotBought
      @BuiltKnotBought  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not figured out either of those issues, it cuts great but still has a bit of a rattle

      @@BuiltKnotBought Is the measuring tape off because it's not meant to be used with the resaw fence attached? Like is the tape accurate to just the fence itself? Thanks for the video!

      @@MarkBorrelli that's a really great question I'll have to take the resaw fence off and see if that helps, you might be on to something here! Thank you

    I set mine up and cannot get the fence to square to the blade vertically. I have the fence square horizontally, like to the miter track. Really frustrating and Grizzly didn’t know how to fix it literally gave me zero options

      Shim the low side bolts with thin washers or tin.

    What size motor do you have in this model? I belive I have the same one at work and it has a 3hp motor and it dosent cut worth a dam

    • @BuiltKnotBought
      @BuiltKnotBought  ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe mine is 2hp, the first thing I'd do is try out a new blade, sometimes the factory blades stink
