Yup, I bike a lot and my quads have gotten a lot of growth from it, it’s always windy too so the added resistance helps.

I don't feel my quads when I do leg extensions I only feel my glutes and hamstrings.
@@JackieChan-rk7mc I do drop sets, so I do 3 sets of 10 reps and my first set I go really heavy then go down in weight my second set and then drop the weight down even more my last set
@@VauxBat I do 3 sets of 10 for each of those exercises and I typically do legs twice a week
Leg press, squats and leg extensions. Three sets of each, per leg day and your quads are golden.
Better tip for squats: let your knee go over your toes. This will give a good "weighted stretch"

2 exercise that place maximum effort on your quads (IF DONE WITH PROPER FORM) are leg extensions and squats.
Yeah leg extensions is good enough if you do close enough to failure, enough volume and leg press or squats

Yeah the VMO is most activated at the very bottom and very top of the squat. Go deep, control the bottom quarter (don’t bounce), and flex quads at the top.
But the glutes can take over. Heel elevated squats can do the trick

I was 155 lbs at 6 and now I am 190 pounds and I still feel skinny. I still see myself with skinny arms and legs
When I squat I feel it alot in my hamstrings. I prefer hack squats for quads
Hack squats are the key to big quads. Back squats gave me bigger glutes, but once I started hack and front squats my legs finally grew.
The hamstrings don't produce force in squats, they only stabilize. You might have long limbs so you naturally tend to push your hips more back

I've had a vastus medialis injury 2 years back. I've recovered, but the muscle seems to be missing. My other leg vastus medialis has grown large due to my leg routine, but my injured leg is same as before 😢.
Ask your doctor, there may be a steroidal solution for your muscle loss.

You can do Bulgarians for quads . Have a closer stance , then place a 5lbs plate on the floor have your heel only on the plate to target more of quad . BOOM thank me later

What if u have limited ankle mobility, what exercises can u do to grow quads.
Place your heel on a block. Should help with range of motion. I personally use a 5lb plate and I can do atg squats using this method.
Leg curls. I have knee issues and these are great. I do one leg at a time to test also which quad is weaker. Do it from diff angles too. In, straight and out♡ hope this helps :))

You don't just place your feet lower on the leg press. You place then as low as you can while still being able to maintain your heels flat. You should be able to push with your heels and bring the weight down as far as possible for a full correct repetition.
