Gorgeous, all of them, but the B-25 has been one of my life-long loves. Six years in the making and it shows. Beautiful, beautiful aircraft.
Wow...once the crew is out of frame, there is no way to tell that these beautiful machines are scaled down. Super realistic and very impressive. Hats off to the team that put these together and flies them.

Not to take anything away from these guys but the bigger and heavier they are, the easyer they are to land.
Those birds are simply great! They could be easily used in a war movie and no one could spot that they are scale models!

I thought those sounded like radials, but I didn't suspect anyone would be nutters enough to build them that small or put them into an RC plane.

@@jna6246 If you have the cash you can have almost anything engine in a mini now days. Including a fully blown v8 as well. They make a little 3 cylinder radials that are like 800 bucks but the 5 to 7 cylinder engines are 2500 to $3500. But they make beautiful music
That B-25 is one of the best large scale planes I've ever seen fly. Looks and sounds so real.

That low level flyby of that Mitchell made me cheer. Wow, a pilot that flies to scale...so rare. What a floaty, yet firm landing, too. The sound of those engines was just juicy. Fantastic. Wow.

I have seen and built alot of models and toys in my life - that B25 is the greatest model I have ever seen. The landing was the most amzing thing - real skill there !

Those large CC Moki's in my opinion, are the best sounding RC aircraft engines. They just sound awesome!! Been around a while now, but still never get tired of hearing them.

Wow! I grew up near a field where they trained WWII pilots to fly B25s. Very cool to see this plane fly. When they sent up the MEs, I started praying for the tail gunner.

Harmony is Golden! From take off to landing loved the entire flying sequence of that big beautiful B-25 and the 109's! BTW, it's a known fact that 109's are not easy to land, but those two came in with perfect "grease job" landings, congrats to those pilots! And that B-25--WOW!
as tragic and horrendous WW2 was it surely produced some wonderful machines..and deep respect to the builders and others who painstakingly built these examples...bravo..

Absolutely terrific!! The B-25 has always been a favorite on mine, I grew up in Milwaukee next to the airport and when I was a kid the Air National Gard was still flying a few of them. Great video.
i like how he did a softfield landing technique by holding the nose off for as long as possible after touchdown...expert piloting right there! 6:40

I live near a military base, and I'm watching these videos early in the morning. 2:40 was when it rolled 6am on the nose for me. I know because this is when the morning reveille began sounding off outside lmao.

I'm impressed with the greased-on landings! Do any of you RC'ers pilot real aircraft as well?
Believe it or not many of them do.Some even pilot the prototype of their RC aircraft model they pilot.Or so they tell me.And yes I believe them ever since I met a RCer at Redlands,Ca airport after seeing him bring in his Navy Tomcat.
My compliments to the b 25 pilot!!!! the best take off and landing I've ever seen for a RC aircraft. So smooth, and realistic. Also the two pilots for those Messerschmitt. A bit of ground loop while landing on the first but it is to understand due to narrow landing gear. Worth to see it over and over.
That landing was awesome, good pilot and a well balanced plane, none of that nervous pitching up and down that other model planes do

The aircraft is so large, it looks like the pilot could sit on the top like the model railroaders due.
i mean at that point i would just make it a bit bigger and make it able to hold myself and have the coolest airplane around
@@coleomo As long as the unladen weight is no more than 254 lbs. Per FAA part 103 rules for ultralight aircraft. Then yeah that would be pretty cool...
@@ClintsTractor If you couldn't fit it in the ultralight category, you could just put it in the LSA cat. But also not everyone lives in America mate so rules are different.
@cole moore Sure one could build it under the LSA rules. But then you'd have to get a certificate of air worthiness. Not to mention you too would have to be certified with a license to fly it. And registered with it's own tail number, insurance etc...
The whole point of ultra light class aircraft under part 103. Is so you don't have to do any of those things. Provided one can of course keep it at or below 254 lbs. As well as a top speed of no more then 55 knots. Among other requirements.
@@ClintsTractor Not really sure what your point is here? I'm not arguing FAA rules and licensing, I simply said it would be the coolest aircraft around if it could hold someone. whether that idea fits into FAA regulations for Ultralight class really doesn't matter as it's just conjecture.

Got to ride in a B-25 from the Confederate Air Force back in 1996. Never would have guessed the amount of power it had!
I would trust that plane way more, that was built back in 1939, before I would trust the best commercial airliner today.

That things a beast to say the least....you can definitely see the right engine pulling harder than the left...I'm sure it's pain in the 'A' to try to balance them.

Luckily I've heard the real thing and it's nothing like this; more like a bunch of marbles in a baked bean can. It's an awesome model though.

Thanks, wonderfully impressive. My uncle flew his WWII missions as navigator on a B-25 in the south Pacific Air Apaches/Rough Raiders, whose squadron badge is on the tail of this beautiful plane.
Thank you for the info. I love to research military stuff especially if I know someone that was in a particular unit or operation. I learned a lot about what my friends or their family members went through and respect their sacrifice.

Just a thought Aviation around the world is fascinating whether its a Mig 7 Bf109 or F-15 ...especially in the RC relm. Just an amazing demo. Thank you.
In ww2 a german fighter pilot escorted a b17 over german lines and over the channel where he broke off the esscort and because of it the b17 crew made it home with only 1 dead
Also remember a lot of times we purposely salvaged enemy air craft to do a surprise attack on the enemy. Most notably the Mitsubishi Zeroes we salvaged and used to destroy a Japanese cruiser as a surprise attack. Same with the Nazi fighters. Since the Zero mimicked many of the Corsair engineering parts. Those German fighters mimicked many of the P40, P51, and Hawker Typhoon and Spitfire mechanical engineering parts. Easier to salvage a downed plane if spare parts we had could make it fly as a trojan horse attack fighter.
Well, the B-25 was deployed in europe, so it is possible that this is a captured one...

Beautiful flying!!!!! Never have I seen anyone, even in the full size Mitchells, fly that craft so well. Would be interesting, a tiff between this Mitch and those two Me109s, laser tag of course.

My grandpa flew a B-25 in WW25 he in 81st Earthquakers stationed in Burma. Squadron leader he was one of the best. Wish he was alive to see this model.

The Sight and Sound of a Iowa-class battleship main guns firing , the raw beauty of ships like the Bismarck or Yamato Musashi sailing at full speed !! Yes !!! There is even Beauty in the horrors of War
