Probably the funniest realization I had watching this season, and I probably could have noticed earlier, is that Megumin’s incantations are probably just for fun and hype. No one else says an incantation they just say the names of the spell.
In the LN spells have chant/incantation ( in a different language never mentioned ), you don't need to use them necessarily, there're skills to remove the need for a chant, but chanting a spell makes it easier to control and can increase its power.
The anime didn't want to come up with chants in different languages so they did this, many things lore-wise are messed up in the anime, for example Aqua needs the body to be at least 70% intact to revive Kazuma, but in the anime his body gets destroyed twice and she is still able to bring him back.
Another thing, buffs from the same sect/religion don't stack, however Aqua is able ot buff Kazuma's luck multiple times.
You can't take the anime serious lore-wise.

In his defense, the people who became Crimson Demons were nutjobs before he transformed them, according to his notes. In fact, the original modifications didn't even affect their eyes, they specifically asked for red eyes because it would look cooler xD

They also find gacha vending machine, with one of the lower-value prizes being a ticket to be turned into one of the Crimson Demons.

This is just another example of why it makes zero sense for the crimson demons to admonish Megumin for loving explosion magic.
Any other people, sure. Explosion magic isn't exactly practical. However, it looks WAY cooler than any other magic, and it even comes with ridiculously long chūnibyō like chants. Basically everything your average crimson demon worships. If you really wanna s how off, go explosion.
Now I want another spin-off with that girl and her family's pub. She's cute and I felt so bad for her.
Let's not forget; their entire village being called "Crimson Demons" is ALSO -a lie- an act to look cool.
Megumin's adventurer card lists her as "Human", no demon blood involved. Meaning they're all humans obsessed with the rule of cool.
They're genetically modified. They're a subspecies of human. There's no demon, but they're not normal humans.

So the other guy had said right: it would probably be a subclass for them. I doubt they will have any issue on that , just that they will make a whole edgy pose with their sword to add an element to said sword.
