Joe, just because Summerville had a release clause doesn't mean we shouldn't demand more than £25m for Gnonto. Really we shouldn't sell Gnonto as he's our best winger left at the club. We've already sold about £75-80m worth of players. No more key players should go
Gnonto is replaceable
the 40mil for Gray has screwed up perspective on all the rest re summerville. 25mil + for him isn't really a bad deal but compared to the haul for Gray it seems poor.

The key part i took from those pieces was the part from Beren Cross "Barring clauses Whites have suggested the can deal of their terms". Is that coming directly from the club or is that Beren Cross reading between the lines because if it comes directly from the club all i'm seeing there is theres other clauses otherwise there is no need for the "barring clauses" part. Every deal seems to be a clause of some sort or another its a easy way to pass the buck to the previous owners and some fans lap that up, Sorry if you were 48% owners at the time and you invested money into the club and financed Ortas madness you share as much of the blame as Radz does in these deals, Noone forced you to finance these signings you knowingly handed over the money and you damn well knew how it was being spent.

Gnonto (we think) doesn't have a release clause which Summerville did so if we had to sell, Gnonto should definitely be sold for more than £25. IMO we shouldn't sell Gnonto as he was our best player the season we got relegated... Yes, better than Summerville
When Gnonto goes, Rutter can go LW and provide much needed width. Piroe at 10, James RW & Joseph 9 looks a great attack

I agree Joe, we are trying to get promoted on the cheap instead of absolutely nailing it by buying well and keeping our best players. We could push the envelope a bit more

No one mentions cohesion. Even if we replace both gnonto AND Summerville which I wouldnt be sure of. We'd have to get in two new first team players. Two players that would have to gel backinto the team. Much like last year and look how that worked out at start of season.
