Isn't that crazy? I seem to have that happen what seems like more often than not. I'd like to blame TH-cam 's algorithm, but the release date of the video would seemingly disprove that.... Seemingly. Haha. One of the theories I have almost settled on was, in short, is it is an algorithm and the world revolves around me. The fact that I have now learned I'm not the alone in this phenomenon has forced me to change my theory. I guess what I'm gonna go with now is that the world revolves around everyone individually, within a quantum computer like thing with algorithms working for each of us in a way that can only be accomplished by quantum computing. If that were to be true, would that mean Bardwell is a program created to support me? Considering I'm forming this theory as I'm writing this comment in real time, it's obviously not a perfect theory.

The correct ELRS target is BETAFPV 2.4GHz AIO RX, I have the Meteor65 Pro and it works with that target (it says on Betafpv's website). I recommend you to put the decorative parts on the canopy, because I scratched my camera lens without them. With them on you can't feel the weight difference, but you can't scratch the camera lens anymore. Just make sure when you put them to press on them until it clicks. If you have the M03 V1.1 VTX, you have 400mw of output power (it says on the VTX page at the specs section that the V1.1 does 400mw), not 350mw, as the drone spec page says.

Love watching your videos Saturday I used a pack. Pulled it out checked the battery and was 3.5v per cell so all good. Battery wasn’t hot. Sat it down ran upstairs to get something to eat and my mother in law was screaming fire. Ran down and was like wtf. Got her out ran upstairs and got kids and wife out. Ran inside got the animals out. Ran back inside turned heat off turned attic fan on ran downstairs and started to put fire out. Was so Smokey from ceiling to floor. Ran into a door half opened and got a concussion. Continued to fight the fire and saved the house. Was in the icu burn unit on breathing tube and induced coma for 4 days. I’m out now but sucks losing all my hobby stuff and couple rooms in my house. Flying is my stress reliever and could deff use that now. Been stressful last week but family is safe and I’m in recovery

Timely video! I got my Meteor75 1S a couple weeks ago. I actually did end up upgrading its FW because in 4.4 you get the HD OSD, which is honestly way better. I ordered the Walksnail version and just got the OSD working the way I want. I know I lost the PID settings.... working that out.
We need some good presets for the Meteor series for 4.4/4.5.... I'm running the most recent release preview because, why not, if I was going to upgrade anyway.
Fully upgraded my Avatar X goggles, ELRS module, old Taranis x9D+ to EdgeTX, Walksnail camera/VTX, ELRS receiver... now all I need is nice weather.

Hi Joshua. This has been my pick (meteor65 ) in my newbie career. I've gone through 2 of them. Motors and have the meteor75 coming lol.. all through not knowing things.. but learning.. and a lot with your help. I really do appreciate what you are doing here. My question is. .. I think you Minsion something about the v t x on this. my Meteor65 when plugged in. a start up beep and nothing at all. After. And the one I fly flew in a water puddle. Tried drying it good. And put Alcohol on it.. Thinking maybe it would help clean the dirt off and help Evaporate what moisture.. ( Just a thought or idea lol ) well when turned on... lines and fuzzy all through the screen. So I figured the first Quad was a burnt f c somehow. So I soldered its vtx on the one I fly.. and when turned on. Start up beeps than nothing.. so it wasn't the fc..but the vtx. Oh the fun in learning. So my real question is.. what would be a good vtx for the meteor65 pros Fc ? Not sure what would be a good fit.. if there was a better option. I just am not sure.

Im about to make this my first fpv drone. Im not a beginner, as im comming from rc planes etc, and I already own drl. I have already Flown with my Friend's Kwad and Mobula6. With the Meteor 65 pro im planning to get the Radimaster pocket. How is the Betafpv VR03 Boxed goggle. Does it have a patch antenna in the front, like the vr02? Or are there any better budget goggles you would recomend?

I factory reset my Meteor 65 Pro and it lost all settings... 2:25 I was importing my backup txt file in CLI which wasn't working, this made me realise I do it from Presets... D'oh. Works like a charm again.

Looking at the spec, seems heavy for a 65mm. My home built 65mm using the BetaFPV meteor frame and FC (0702 motors, though, not 0802) is about 18.5-19g w/o battery.
Be interested to know how reliable it is. I have had a few of those serial ELRS cross shaped BetaFPV FCs - assuming its the same board, and have had several failures. Typically these were due to loss of OSD and/or USB connection, sometimes all power also, or in one case the gyro failed - or the link to it did. BetaFPV support were very helpful though, and replaced parts promptly, but it made my worry about the board design.

That own "partial" presets are handy!
It would be helpful to scroll through the setting screens your presets are applying so we can create your presets.
Can you use this drone with the Betafpv Aquila 16 RC and headset?
Hey,
My analog FPV setup has decent range, but sometimes the video in my googles starts to randomly drift to the right and gets black/white sometimes. After a few seconds my Skyzone Sky04X beep once and the video signal is perfectly finde again.
This happens super randomly, completley independent on how far the drone is away from me... Also don´t think its a overheating issue...
Any tips on what to do? I need the video signal to be reliable, since i´ll use it for a fpv-job!

I had the Meteor65 pro since 1-1-24 in still have been able to fly. BETAFPV LiteRadio 3 RC Radio Transmitter will not connect at all. In sad part I have no computer😅

I just got the jumper t light v2 and I need help flashing it I open the configurator and set the release as 3.3.2 device category should be jumper 2.4GHz and the device should have 2400 tx but the only options are stuff that says 2.4GHz please I need help I might quit I don't want to I want to fly whoops

My camera image is constantly overexposed. Anything I can do to fix this?
Help! I have the same whoop (FRSKY) with version 4.2.11. I updated it to 4.3, but now it fails after 3 meters. I could have known this if I had seen the little info on the Betafpv site warning about this. If I flash back to 4.2.11, I no longer have a gyro. I have no idea. Means I need a 4.3 version for the Meteor 65 Pro that works. But there is none. And the strange thing is that the .hex files etc. on the BetaFPV site says 3.0 blablabla. The text on my fc says 3.1. Help! 😫

Hello, does anyone here know about putting a Runcam Thumb Pro on a Mobula7? There seems to be not enough sources out there for me to make the decision of actually getting it. My concerns are:
-Weight, and how it will affect the quad
-Flight time, obviously reduced, but how much
-How much will it affect the freestyle-ness?
-How to safely mount it
-Battery size (350mAh is 7.8g while 450mAh is 16g)
-Should i make the Thumb pro naked?

My 75 pro kicks the antenna away from the props instead of breaking the vtx connector.
btw headup rates seem pretty slow for a whoop racing.
I've got Jumper T20 with 3.3.0 elrs. There is no "Other devices" menu item.
You have to be bound with the receiver turned on and all on 3.3.

I generally agree that SPI is inferior to serial in almost all cases. However right now at this particular moment. with 3x ELRS firmly established and supported in Betaflight, SPI is actually easier to bind assuming you are using 3.x on your radio, and if you arent, why not? but you just need to put your bind phrase into the receiver tab in betaflight and power it up. DONE. even a Ciotti could do it. (JK love ya Gangle boy)

I have the Meteor 75 Pro for almost a year now and I can say that these little toys are just insanely well built.
Crashed it 60 times for sure, the frame has some scratches but it holds as it's nothing, but I can't find the VTX option :(

Change the prop rotation on that drone or you'll rip the vtx antenna connector off the board when the props grab that antenna and yanks it towards the front of the quad. Stupid oversight by betafpv.
What about when you’re in turtle mode and the motors are reversed? I think that’s where the antenna is more likely to hit the props.
@krish3033 it's just super easy to get the antenna in the props. I personally don't use turtle mode.
@@mattalford3932 I think the issue is where the antenna is mounted as I get the antenna stuck in the props just as much if not more on my meteor75 pro with props out as I do on my 65 with props in. I don’t have this issue with my hdzero 75 pro because the antenna doesn’t stick out of the canopy nearly as much.

I agree and think most people who have been around the hobby a few years minimum, know this as well. My BetaFPV stuff is overpriced for the quality of the motors and electronics. Way better choices out there.
