Roy Kahn was a man born for music. His love for wife and child tore him away from it. If you want to be famous, stay single. No ties to anyone. That is the price you must pay for fame. Do you really want it? It is hard work and endless touring. Living out of buses, crappy motel rooms and suit cases. Doing your laundry at laundry mats and eating lots of pizza not to mention the booze that will keep you sane through it all. Rock stardom comes at a heavy price. You have to love music and music only. Having a wife and child is not going to work if you are on tour all the time. Music must be the only love of your life if fame and fortune is to be attained. I have been there and it is a tough life to live. Most of the time you are broke and the record company takes all the money to pay for the expense of touring. You need a big hit record before you start seeing any real money. Ask any rockstar if I am lying. I got so sick and tired of being broke and living on the edge that I got out of the business. I am a good guitarist but that means nothing. I put out a solo album and gave it away for free on my channel just to get it out. I love music. I hate the music industry. They will milk you to death before they ever pay you. You either sell millions of albums or your bumming.
