    Smart lady! Really nice to see someone who was a public school teacher, but is also being an advocate for homeschooling. I had my kids in public school for three years & then pulled them out to homeschool. We just finished our homeschooling journey this year! All of my teens(they are quadruplets by the way)are well-rounded, kind individuals. It's been a blessing to learn along with them & watch them grow in the Lord! 🎓🙏

      Same here, three years in the system and that was enough. No regrets, and that was 13 years ago. I can’t imagine even thinking twice if it was today, especially after knowing how much better home education it is for them.

    I wish I had home schooled my son years ago. He quit high school because of all the racial bullying. I let him quit because of the fear he had in his voice when he was begging me to let him stop.

    I have started homeschooling my son . He is 14 and he is getting B's and C's where last year in public school he was failing. Our public schools are not good for young men.

    I am happy to see traditional teachers capture the vision of God's intent, that parents are to educate their children, not institutions. As a Life Developer I search for opportunities to help advance the lives of those who display high standards and I find this in homeschoolers. Homeschoolers naturally develop awareness of what works in life and what does not work, unlike those taught by our traditional school system. Homeschoolers learn the value of being a self-starter, a good time manager, to have a concern for self-development and is a discerner of life's priorities. Homeschooling is growing and those who are its pillars will be part of the great revival that's coming which will influence the world.

    In these time now more than ever homeschooling should be done … even if a parent can’t be the teacher … aid your child with online “ homeschool” programs … we did and she is now a senior ( went in person junior and senior years) at age 20 with a 4.25 average … then will get masters degree .

    I've been thinking seriously about homeschooling our youngest who is almost 8 yrs old. Her siblings are 30 and 31 so yes we were 45 years old when she was born. I have only been sober for 5 years and a true born again Jesus follower for a year. Our daughter is a little spoiled but she knows Jesus, we pray all the time and we've just started reading the Bible with her. I have a really hard time getting her to do her homework, how would I teach her at home?

      I went to school to escape the abuse at home, and went home to escape the abuse at school. The teachers were far worse than the kids. I became a bookworm early on, it was my escape. I got some teasing from fellow students for always reading, but what the teachers dished out...some were psychopaths and should NEVER have been allowed near children. It can be tough everywhere.

    I do agree with homeschooling but there is a lot of abused parents that take the kid out of public school and supposedly homeschool them so they can hide the abuse . So there need to be way to prevent children get hurt or kill because their parents decide to homeschool them

      @SB-fl9lh 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Where do you find.the data or statistics that back up this claim. There are so many abused children In Public school as well and nothing much happens to prevent it.

    • @undergrace1808
      @undergrace1808 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We are comparing homeschooling to the education system as far as how can a child get one on one education with parents that are involved and dedicated. You can compare one on one to one on twenty. If a child is abused, then yes, the state should take over and raise them. Homeschoolers outscore public schoolers and private because they get the one on one attention.

    Homeschool your children if that's what you feel is necessary. As a public school teacher of over thirty years, I can meet the needs of my students, so please don't say that we can't do that. My only concern is that not everyone who homeschools has the background to teach their children every standard or subject k-12. I know I don't, so I allow those who know calculus or physics to do their job. What about a child who needs special education services? Are homeschool parents qualified to meet those very specialized needs? Homeschooling, if done right, is fantastic but should be planned and thought out before jumping into something this important.

    • @nj8215
      @nj8215 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh please, the worst place for a child with special needs is the public school, the teachers are not equipped with the training, patience and time to teach those students. There are so many resources and curriculums to homeschool that it not worth it sending kids to school to get bully by teachers and students.

      Most of my mom friends who homeschooled their children were former teachers….plus one lawyer and a rocket scientist. We kinda all pooled our resources.
      My own child is now a computer science major at a reputable university.

      Thanks for taking on such a tough job teaching in the public schools. I just need to point out that we don't need to know every standard of every subject k-12, and neither do our kids. Homeschooling allows us to teach the basics and then follow their interests. And if we needed to teach something beyond our own abilities, that's what the internet is for. I never took chemistry or advanced math because I was not interested in academics and my life turned out pretty well.

      This is driving me crazy, with her faith and everything. I'm trying to find proof or an interview of someone asking this question to her...
      "We're you born a female with female genitals? People can't help to see you having male attributes; deep voice, height, facial structure,..."
      Kathy, if you see this skeptical comment and you were born a female and actually have female genitals, I ask for your forgiveness and I am in no way coming across with a scoffing cold heart. I'm honestly really curious and just can't wrap my head around your voice and features.
      Especially with the times we're living in, with the trans agenda being pushed on our children so young.
