The family I grew up in never apologized for anything. I never heard my parents apologize, so I learned from my husband. Now when I apologize to my mom, she seems very uncomfortable and awkward.😎 I'm grateful for what I've learned from Gary Chapman.

I would love to apologize for something that was done to me, on purpose to hurt me. I know that sounds crazy because I was harmed. These are ministers though, so I feel torn between exposing the sin and trying to forget it. They illegally watched me. I am heart broken, but because Jesus is my Lord - I still want to apologize for some of my remarks to them. Thank you Gary Chapman. I used to sell your books like crazy at LifeWay! Thank you Kirk. I will make every effort to be on the lookout for the opportunity to address my harmers in a more controlled way.

Allowing anyone into your phone is not a way to “asking for trust” or is in any way a healthy way to prove one’s “trust”. It’s an unhealthy way of letting someone in suffering to do more self harm. A person like this will see ghosts everywhere and it can damage a relationship even more. I don’t have anything to hide but I don’t have to prove it. Trust is a choice to give and not something you should earn by someone who is imbalanced and feels the need to check or police you 💀☠️ this will only end badly in the long run.
Just lost respect for his teachings as they are very short sighted though some of it might be useful
