that episode was truly amazing.. it has now been 100 times now that i've sat down in front of my tv at 8 o'clock on a thursday night and watched this show.
this show is truly my life :) i've grown up with it and the cast, when it first premiered i was 12 and now i'm 16..
i don't want to make this speech about the show and how it has affected me, but all i'm going to say is that without this show, i would have discovered vidding and i would have never of known that i am meant to be a film editor..
stefan & katherine... they will be the death of me.
these two are sooooo meant to be! they need to be endgame!
i'd have to say that they're my second otp of this show, behind delena of course ;)

Katherine and Stefan ARE meant to be together
It was always Stefan and Katherine that were meant to be together, it was never Elena. Katherine did some horrible things, and she had to to survive, and she is strong, and amazing. And although everyone thinks she is incapable of love, she really did love Stefan. I find it sad because they were never really together, and they were made for each other. And however much Stefan tried to deny it, he never stopped loving her. I know that in the end Stefan forgave Katherine for everything she had done, and he was there for her when she died, and I'm glad that her life ended that way. But I think Stefan deserves to be happy with someone he is in love with, and that isn't with Elena, or Caroline, it was always Katherine.
You are perfectly right to agree with you. And I think Katherine might be a "bitch" but Stefan really loved him. I think Katherine just had to be with Stefan.
Yes, I totally agree. I think Elena was meant to be with Tom not Stefan. Stefan and Katherine were supposed to be together ❤

She was his true love, he was hers. I hate it that they did not end but really together, hate the writing, they shouldn't have made her take the cure, then drain her and make her age, but it showed how much fragile and tortured she was through these 500 years,and although she looked like monster, she was just a broken, flawed person. Shouldn't have wrote her to try to take Elena's body. I know your comment is 3 years old, but I loved them so so much as a couple.

It's so sad how The Vampire Diaries ends. Katherine came back for one episode until she was dead again, with Stefan. I hope it comes a new serie with Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev. I love Steferine!
