I just wanted to say- that I love this song and I love Damon and elena so much. You know they weren't supposed to be? In the show Elena was supposed to end up with Stefan. But then, Nina left and somehow- the unimaginable perfection that I hadn't dared to hope for happened. Damon and Elena happened. Against all odds, Damon got the girl. I keep coming back to this video. Whether I'm sad or happy I keep coming back. There's an elegance to it- a restrained beauty. A remarkable amount of hope and perseverance. Their vulnerable love really shines through. My God. You've used the voiceovers perfectly. I can really feel Elena' s uncertainty and torment as she resists Damon and falls for him all the same. This video convinces me that Elena really loved Damon better than the show did. Thank you.
