The truth is, no, Stefan would never look at Katherine the way he looked at Elena. Because he had been in love with Katherine for his entire life. He only loved Elena for a couple of years. Elena could not compete with the love Stefan felt for Katherine. Of course he hated her at first for what she did, but deep down, he loved her. His body hated her, his soul was in love. And no one (not even Caroline) could compete with an eternal love that trumps all the things she did.
Exactly, when Stefan had Katherine chained and even though she threatened Elena and everyone Elena loved, he had the chance to kill her, and didn't, especially knowing how dangerous she was. This told me that deep down he really still loved her but didn't want to admit it.

It's a shame that they didn't explore their relationship better. It seems to me that since the writers involved the originals, the whole show got revolved around Damon, Elena and Klaus. If Damon got redeemed for everything he had done, Katherine deserved the same chance. In the end, the best two characters died together and it's such a shame.

But, Stefan couldn't stop loving Katherine, and that finally manifested in his pursuit of Elena. I think the reason Stefan didn't let Katherine take him back was because he hadn't coped with the fact that Katherine was forced to abandon him to survive Klaus' wrath, which he didn't yet know.
I know Katherine was supposed to be a bad person but speaking from experience of loving someone who doesn't love you back honestly she went through the worst. That pain is great and piercing. Remember, she could've ran and never came back but she came back over and over again for Stefan.

The only times Katherine compelled Stefan was to take away his fear because he didn't need to be afraid of Katherine since she would never willingly hurt him seriously, and to have Stefan drink her blood so if he ever died Katherine wouldn't lose him because Stefan would return as a vampire. And honestly? I support both of those decisions. The Damon drama was unnecessary but I understand and support's Katherine reasoning for compelling Stefan
Even though Katherine is the one responsible for him becoming a vampire he still trlls her she didnt deserve any of what happened to her she was a 17 year old girl. After all she did to him he still was able to relate to her and show her compassion. Stefan was the best man in the series.
She looked so heartbroken at 1:13. I honestly believe she came back for Stefan. I've never watched it so I don't know but I genuinely think that's the reason. I know she stopped running after 500 years from Klaus but i'm not sure if that's the real reason. I know Katherine was supposed to be a bad person but speaking from experience of loving someone who doesn't love you back honestly she went through the worst. That pain is great and piercing. Remember, she could've ran and never came back but she came back over and over again for Stefan.

Anyone who says Katherine compelled Stefans love is going to catch these fist . She only compelled him to drink her blood. When he takes care of her in Season 5 we can clearly see that the love wasnt faked
The only times Katherine compelled Stefan was to take away his fear because he didn't need to be afraid of Katherine since she would never willingly hurt him seriously, and to have Stefan drink her blood so if he ever died Katherine wouldn't lose him because Stefan would return as a vampire. And honestly? I support both of those decisions. The Damon drama was unnecessary but I understand and support's Katherine reasoning for compelling Stefan

Even though Katherine is the one responsible for him becoming a vampire he still trlls her she didnt deserve any of what happened to her she was a 17 year old girl. After all she did to him he still was able to relate to her and show her compassion. Stefan was the best man in the series.
She looked so heartbroken at 1:13. I honestly believe she came back for Stefan. I've never watched it so I don't know but I genuinely think that's the reason. I know she stopped running after 500 years from Klaus but i'm not sure if that's the real reason. Screw that, i just finished the video and Katherine so looked damn heartbroken at every moment that it hurt. Especially when she was dying. Katherine deserved better.

I will never let go of how they mishandled this ship and Katherine's character. Either they should've let Katherine find a new love or let them be endgame. Why she was still trying to get her freedom from Klaus didn't make sense because he was not pressed about finding her. He was in New Orleans handling his own shit. They should've gave her a new plot that wasn't connected to the Salvatore brothers or Klaus. She's been running for 500 years. Give her another motive or purpose.
