I can't get the pen to write I put a filler in and have been trying to get it to write that Please show me. How to get the pen to write n I have all colors of dr martins ink two different pens one is a begginers set.And it is this one I'm trying to use it has a cm nicely wrote and has 3 fillers one has a screw in it ,the other pen has some kind of side mount the first one I describe thank you for being so patient this is my first t time
I completely understand how frustrating it can be when a new pen doesn’t deliver the smooth flow and results you were expecting. To better guide you, could you share what kind of pen you're using? Are you referring to a pointed nib or a fountain pen?
First time viewer. I am not a "planner." I have tried using all sorts of planners in the past. Do it for a week, two maybe even three. Then I start again a few months later and I used to end up mad for wasting my money. I love your ideas on having that goal sheet right there, aligned. I don't know if I will try this method, but it would be the one I would attempt. It makes so much sense. Thank you for reminding your viewers that reflection is almost as important as the planning.

Great video. I need to work on my sleep but it is hard when i have to keep changing my sleep schedule. I work nights (get off work at 4 am) 4 nights a week and have to be awake by 8 am the other 3 days. Do you have any tips for having a split sleep schedule?
That sounds really challenging-constantly shifting between different sleep schedules can take a toll. If possible, keeping some consistency, like maintaining similar wake-up and wind-down routines, might help. Strategic naps and light exposure management (bright light when you need to stay awake, dim lighting when winding down) can also make the transitions smoother. Thank you for the great question!

I have been wanting to improve my sleep for myself and my family. My son and husband sleep at different times and I tend to sleep when they both sleep. My son sleeps at the same time most but not all of the time. And my husband and I have no sleep schedule 😆 maybe it's because I'm writing this but I now realize how simple the problem is. When I'm sleep deprived I feel so overwhelmed but at this moment I feel like the problem is very manageable. This video is so motivating and informative!! Thank you!!

Tips are helpful but the habit of not drinking water before bed is going to be a battle for me to leave because I feel thirsty most of the time and drink lots of water before bed 😢😢
I totally understand-my kids do the same, trying to gulp down water right before bed. I hope this video helps you find a way to schedule water intake throughout the day instead of leaving it for the last moment! 💦

My problem is the disruption in regularity. Days that are stressful or extra time at work kind of affects the ability to follow routine. When this breaks the consistency, I find it hard to get back to routine and sleep doesn't come naturally 😢.
I hear you! Stressful days and unexpected work demands can really throw off our routines. It’s completely understandable, and you’re not alone in this struggle. How much journaling women do in comparison to men? Percentage-wise
This was an interesting question, so I did a quick bit of research, and here’s what I found: While specific statistics on journaling habits by gender are limited, some insights can be drawn from related areas: Bullet Journaling: A 2018 report by the NPD Group indicated that women purchase about two-thirds of blank journals sold in the U.S., suggesting a higher engagement in journaling activities among women. Blogging: Data from 2010 showed an equal split between men and women in blogging activities. However, a 2012 study found that women were slightly more likely than men to blog. Studies show that women tend to journal more frequently than men, though the gap is not enormous. This trend is often attributed to cultural and social factors, where women may be more encouraged to express their emotions and thoughts in writing, while men might be less inclined toward reflective journaling practices due to societal expectations around masculinity. However, this doesn't mean men don't engage in journaling at all-many do, especially as journaling becomes more popular as a tool for self-care, productivity, and mental clarity.

Hi Liz-How do you recommend storing regular art pens for journaling? Is it okay for them to be stored standing straight up or flat? I sometimes like keeping pen sets in original package. Love your 5-part journaling system and just started organizing my binder 😊. Would really love for you to do a video on Notion. I recently downloaded it for daily/weekly to-do lists but it feels a bit overwhelming. Thanks!
Hi! Thank you for your kind words and thoughtful questions! As a calligrapher, I’ve also wondered about the best way to store all the pens I own. From what I’ve heard, it’s generally recommended to store pens horizontally to ensure even ink flow, which is why I do this for all my fountain pens, gel pens and brush pens. However, for my everyday Sarasa pens, I prioritize effectiveness and easy access. So, I store them standing upright in a pen holder or mason jar. So far, it’s been working well without any ink flow issues ☺️

My new Apple Watch has been an eye opener. Here I’ve been wondering why I’m so tired when I wake up even though I’m in bed for 9 hours. Turns out my actual sleep is about 6 hours. Thank you for these brilliant sleep solutions to help overcome this.

These are very helpful tips. A problem i identified for myself is that i do not hydrate enough with water in the first half of the day (because i drink several coffees) - then in the afternoon i realize that i did not drink enough water and i drink about 1.5 litres during the afternoon and evening. This then leads to me getting up once or twice a night to go to the bathroom, which really impacts my sleep. I really need to be more mindful about my hydration habits!

Netflix watching
I rarely ever feel replenished and rested when I wake up, particularly this time of year. I live in Saskatchewan (Canada) and have to start everyday in the dark, come home in the dark and don't get a lot of fresh air this time of year either because it's very cold (-30). I use a sunrise alarm clock, and it helps but it's nothing compared to the actual sun coming in the window. Do you have any suggestions for those in a winter climates struggling to get out of bed and unable to get enough fresh air? Your content brings me so much peace and so relatable. When you were struggling and had to apply all the things you needed to do in your daily habits did you get your habits in order first before you started your business. It’s so many things that I want to accomplish and I’m like I need to break some habits and create some habits before starting.
I’m so glad you’re finding my content helpful! This is such an interesting point. When I set goals for the year, I usually start by defining them first and then establish the daily habits needed to achieve them. In that sense, habits serve as the backbone and action plan for reaching any goal. I believe setting business goals and developing consistent habits go hand in hand.
