This was our 4th consecutive day of trackwork that brought traffic levels down tremendously, and it was hard to shoot at a lot of spots anyway. I'm going up this weekend and can update you here on traffic if you'd like.

How many trains would you say that I could see as of this year.
I don't live up there, but I've averaged 15-20 trains on my last 3 trips to the area.

Thanks! I used a Canon HF R20 camcorder, though I'm looking to replace it soon. It's a few years old now.
I presume you had the R20 camcorder mounted on a tripod?
Yeah. It's a basic Velbon fluid panhead tripod, but it's currently at home, so I don't remember what model.
