      Thank you! We kinda got boned by traffic... I'd say go some time other than summer. This was our 4th consecutive day of trackwork that brought traffic levels down tremendously, and it was hard to shoot at a lot of spots anyway. I'm going up this weekend and can update you here on traffic if you'd like.

      I don't live up there, but I've averaged 15-20 trains on my last 3 trips to the area.

      Thanks! I used a Canon HF R20 camcorder, though I'm looking to replace it soon. It's a few years old now.

      I presume you had the R20 camcorder mounted on a tripod?

      Yeah. It's a basic Velbon fluid panhead tripod, but it's currently at home, so I don't remember what model.
