One thing i’d like to add is older car guy stories. Meeting car guys who’ve been into the scene for many decades is a great experience, you’ll learn and laugh a lot from it

I started doing open track days a couple of years ago and they're really fun. You don't need expensive cars, just drive whatever you have. Maybe some brake upgrades if needed. People there are also really nice and knowledgeable about building cars
For #3 Track Day, You could go to an autocross event. All cars are welcome at those events. You really just need a ticket to the event or something.

I definitely agree with the track day. My brother and I went to an open lapping day with his '16 Mazda 3 and my '19 WRX. We definitely were not the fastest cars for the day as both our cars are relatively stock, but we made friends with an older guy with a k swapped NB Miata that was a sweet track specific build. He invited me brother and I over to his pit lane and was giving us tips on how to find the best racing line. Later in the day, he was absolutely zooming past me on the track😅😅
The most honorable mention has to be the feeling of buying your first car.

sold my saab and am sharing a jeep until i get another fun car and i got to admit off roading or snow driving is really fun in a 4x4 car and before i drove it was the biggest jeep hater you could find (still am for any other situations than off roading)

6 is kind of shit for me because literally almost every "real" wheel is illegal here in Germany. If I want TEs I gotta get reps that have certification. I mean in this case "reps" are not that bad because they wont just break, again they need to be tested and certified but finding something for your 90s shitbox is really difficult because everything is specific to the car model. BUT the feeling when you do find cool wheels that tie the whole build together AND are legal must be so extra good.
