The double sparkle brush technique is super cool. I never considered just folding over the bottom brush. Awesome trick!
The perfect fly for the week! I’m about to tie some of these up in black and silver to fish for Itou (Japanese Taimen) up here in Hokkaido. Thanks again! 🍻
I know some big spring time bass and pike who would like this one!! I'll definitely be tying some of these. Thanks for the video.
Never realized how simple the sparkle minnow actually was. Definitely getting some MFC sparkle minnow brushes. Thanks Brian! Love the channel.
Super simple! Thanks for watching!
I like pulling the second brush over the wrapped brush. Very cool technique and look. I'll be trying it out on some striper fly patterns for sure.
Those minnow brushes are awesome
Great video, as always. Wasn't sure where the yellow brush was going until you folded it over. Nice.
Love the sparkle minnow! Articulated 🤯
This is now my new favorite articulated streamer, thanks for the vid Brian
Glad you enjoyed it!
Those sparkle minnow brushes look awesome! Great looking fly.
You make fly tieing look easy. I enjoy watching your videos
Thanks!!
Like the underlying brush technique. New to me! Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Cool technique with the second brush. I have learned so much from you.
Love the fly. Don’t have the stuff to tie it but I bet it works
Great idea folding over the bottom brush!
Another great tie to keep me busy this winter!! Thanks! Love the MFC Sparkle brush.
Enjoy!
Nice tie! Liking that color combo for the sparkle minnow.
Right!?!?!
I like it! I’ll try it on the largemouth around here. Thanks Brian! Always appreciated. 👍👍🎣👌
Thanks!
Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to share and making the video!
My pleasure!
One of my favorite streamers to fish! Awesome tie!
Awesome! Thank you!
That's some sparkly-sweet, articulated goodness, Brian. As a gold-member perk, you should send out the material list a couple of days before the sneak-peak video. That way Feather Craft will have material available before it goes out to the masses.
Suuuuper good idea!
Wow, I really like the technique you used on the two sparkle brushes, genius! Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Great looking fly and video on how to tie it.
Very nice. Definitely need to tie that one for next spring.
That’s a neat technique with the two brushes.
Cool huh?
That’s one sparkly minnow. I was wondering how you would use two sparkle brushes to make it two tone, and now I know. Thanks 🙏 for sharing.
I've used dubbing loops. I like the ease of the sparkle minnow brush. I've used the sparkle minnow with a cone head and have caught numerous smallies in the Michigan great lakes regions
Such a good fly!
Love this fly I gotta try more articulated patterns!
Pretty cool as always!! Thanks Brian.
Thanks for watching!
Looks amazing !!! I’m definitely going to tie up one and try it for large mouth bass
good fly to be tried in Norway on big trout!! let's go
You make it look so easy.
Another great looking fly thanks for sharing.
Thanks again!
Awesome fly, basically just 2 materials, keeps the tying bench clear.
Kinda 😊
Pretty much!
Really like this fly. I live in Florida and it looks great for the fish down here!
For sure!
Looks simple and effective to get two colors.
I like the use of the skull head instead of a cone.
Good looking fly, keep up the work!
Thanks, will do!
Great technique, great streamer!! Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice as always, simple is beatiful!
Thank you!
Great video and the fly looks great
Thanks!
Cool!!!
Very nice sparkle minnow.
Thanks!
Nicely done
Fun tie😊
Love it! Gotta tie up some for my box.
Go for it!
Awesome tie
Thanks!
Sick video! Im gonna have to try this!
Looks like Smalley candy!
Thank you for the video, I like the gorilla glue under the eyes
Thanks for watching!
Looks durable.
Definitely!
Good looking streamer thanks
Haven’t tied a articulated fly yet. It’s on my to tie list
They are tons of fun!
Looks deadly!
100%
I like the fly I assume that you can change up the colors.
You can do any color-combo you want!
Hagen's carries Angel Hair in SO many colors. It's what I've used for almost 30 years. But, it's in hanked form. I chop it up to use in a mono thread dubbing loop. Or, if you prefer, you could buy a dubbing brush maker, and create your own brushes.
Another fly I'll have to try my hand at.
It's so good.....
nice fly
Thanks ✌
🍗🥓🥩🍖 ready to be picked!!
That fly would be awesome for smallmouth bass man
It IS!
Nice 👍
Thanks!
Awesome fly. What are you using to connect the two parts of the fly together?
Beading Wire.
Nice. Thanks...
Thank you too!
What are your favorite all around color for eyes
only one french word : BRAVO
HAHA, thanks!
Does the down eyed hook change the way the fly swims at all?
Nope.
Love the design of this fly pattern !! Curious if you've ever tried Mustad C52S BLN signature fly hooks for any of your streamers ? I've seen the newer Mustad hooks, like you used in this fly, are they a better hook choice ? Stronger, lighter ? I'd like to send you a few pics of some of my flies. Do you have an email address I could send a few pics ? PS : I like your tattoo, I know Him well. Thanks !!

The C52S is pretty much the same hook with a different finish....great hook. bnwise@gmail.com
Ahh, nothing like casting a good streamer.
Agreed!
Any alternative for the sparkle minnow brush?
A dubbing loop of Ice Dub is the original way to tie these....works great.
Brian what was the little lighter trick? Or was it a brain fart? LOL
OH! That clears the bubbles out of the UV resin before you cure it.
What other colors do you like to tie sparkle minnows in?
All White, Chartreuse/White, all Black, Black/Chartreuse, and the original Gold/White.....but the possiblities are endless.
Slip it and flip it. For real.
Pretty articulated fly…. thread????
210 👍
Anyone else find that those Roar hooks suck? For me they dulled easily and were hard to resharpen.
