    Great job! I had a piece that had missing rope trim that I could not find the right size to replace/repair and I had seen a few videos using hot glue as the mold and bondo as the “filler” worked like a charm, can’t hardly notice the difference.

      Glad it worked! There are often several ways for sure. Sometimes I use Bondo to fill a mold and sometimes I use resin. 😊👍
